AmazeVR arbeitet schon länger daran, Veranstaltungen in die virtuelle Welt zu holen. Jetzt bieten sie uns eine Art Privatkonzert mit der preisgekrönten Sängerin Megan Thee Stallion an. Da die etwas explizite Dame ihre Fans "Hotties" nennt, heißt die Umgebung, in der das Konzert stattfindet folgerichtig "Hottieverse". Megan Thee Stallion zu wählen finde ich erstaunlich, da sie ja schon kontrovers ist. Das finde ich aber gut. Ich war, während ich mir das Konzert anschaute, schon etwas verwirrt, als ich sah, wie die Sängerin die Hälfte der Zeit halbnackt twerkte, während sie alle 5 Sekunden das N-Wort wiederholte. Ehrlich gesagt, ist das nicht das Erste, was ich erwarte, wenn ich ein virtuelles Konzert besuche, aber man kann sich daran gewöhnen. Sie ist sehr freizügig, und in dem Song, den es als kostenlose Demo dabei ist, hat sie viel Geld für den Stoff ihrer Kleidung gespart. Dann kommen wir an einer kreisförmigen Bühne an, wo Megan, tanzt und singt. Während des Konzerts können wir mit den Händen kleine Interaktionen durchführen. Aber eigentlich konzentriert sich das ganze Konzert auf die Künstlerin und ihre Performance. Vor dem ganzen Konzert gibt es sogar etwas mehr Interaktion, ein kleines Spiel Hier müssen wir mit dem Kopf auf Elemente zielen und sie durch Schütteln der Hände abschießen. Diese Konzert ist aber dennoch mehr als nur ein Video, es gibt zum Beispiel einige flüssige Metallkleckse, die um einen herumfliegen, und man kann sie berühren und die Controller vibrieren. Since the somewhat explicit lady calls her fans "hotties", the environment in which the concert takes place is logically named "Hottieverse". To choose Megan Thee Stallion I find amazing, since she is already controversial. However, I think it's a good thing. I was, while watching the concert, a bit confused when I saw the singer twerking half the time half naked while repeating the N-word every 5 seconds. Honestly, it's not the first thing I expect to see when I attend a virtual concert, but it's something you can get used to. She's very revealing, and in the song that's included as a free demo, she saved a lot of money on the fabric of her clothes. Only one song is free, the others can be bought for a few bucks. It starts by hovering over a landscape and moving towards the target, all as if on rails. Then we arrive at a circular stage where Megan, dances and sings. During the concert, we can make small interactions with our hands. But actually the whole concert is focused on the artist and her performance. Before the whole concert there is even a little more interaction, a little game Here we have to aim our heads at elements and shoot them by shaking our hands. No idea why. The quality of the recording of the artist her is impressive. When the camera is close, you can almost see the wrinkles on her skin. For me, Megan's performance was really the highlight of this whole experience. The concert was shot with stereoscopic cameras, so it is 3DOF. It is not a volumetric video. That means when you move your body, Megan moves with it. Intimate glimpses of the singer are thus denied to us. Still, this concert is more than just a video; for example, there are some liquid metal blobs that fly around you, and you can touch them and vibrate the controllers. Overall, I enjoyed watching the Megan Thee Stallion mini-concert. Of course, for all the hotties with VR glasses, the whole concert is a must-see. The illusion of a 3D rendered person while sitting still is pretty good. Moving my head a little destroys that illusion quickly. I like experiences like the Wave where the music and artists were central to the experience. T&A appear to be the focus here which might be more successful. It's basically a honeytrap with paid DLC. One song is free and the lady squeezes her own 8k bobs multiple times. It's fine if you're into 2000's cgi, third rate R&B, black thicc 'queens' with dead eyes droning 'yada yada yada yada yada' over and over. If you're horny get the SLR app or something. Maybe I'm just not the target audience.

There was a video section on Steam, but it's deprecated and basically closed, so failed filmmakers seem to just try to abuse the Steam games section instead. Why is this good for gamers? It's not. For those who don't know what defines a game, a "game loop" explains the interaction and feedback a gamer gets while playing a game. Here's an example of a game loop. In Dark Souls, you explore an area, encounter an enemy, fight that enemy and if the computer lets you survive, you repeat that loop with the computer providing you with new enemies. Another example is Candy Crush, where you rearrange your gems and if you create a match, they're eliminated, you get rewarded, and then the game provides you with more gems to match to repeat the process. There's no loop here, no true interactive feedback. It simply is not a game, it cannot be "played". It is a crap music video from a talentless product of the recording industry, a manufactured "artist". This has been deceptively released in the "Games" section of Steam rather than the "Software" section. This is a frequent error for "developers" who are new to Steam, or fail to grasp the difference between games and non-game software. It appears this software listed as a game is just a result of zero experience or ignorance of the proper process. A peak audience of only [b]6 concurrent viewers[/b] for a "free" Youtube Video is a disastrous public reception. Out of 130 million potential gamers here on Steam, almost nobody was interested. Even though this is "free". This is a toxic, nasty bit of advertising junkware advertised as a "free game", it's neither free, nor is it a game. Imagine if every godawful RIAA constructed "artist" published crap adverts for music videos on Steam... this should never have happened even once and it should never happen again.
