I really like this game its lots of fun. If you like classic retro shooter like Doom as I do then this is the game for you. The art style is simple and cute with easy to use controls and options for movement to fit your needs. The game starts out simple as you get used to the weapons and enemies up to the first boss fight. Then things start to heat with new enemies and larger levels ramping up the challenge. As a fan of classic shooters and VR, I enjoy this game and fully recommend it.
A fun, trippy send-up to the flat "3D" shooters of the 90's. Very challenging, but rarely feels unfair. Guns feel great to shoot and the artstyle is rad. Also, strangely immersive? Check it out if you love classic shooters.

Very Fun Love the Art Style! enemy variaty, good gun play and enviroments Highly Recomend!
EDIT: The developer has since added teleportation and I have changed my opinion on the game. I am yet to have tried the teleportation mechanic, but I think that it will have significantly improved the game. Weird movement. You would've thought there could be a teleport mechanic, much like Raw Data, but the movement and aiming just feels off to me.
This game is just a straight up good friggin' time - just go for it, Murderman!
Had this game on the wishlist for the longest time. Really glad i didnt pay 20 bucks for it, its not worth it. Even at 8.00 dollars i'm still going to refund it and get something that is actually fun to play. The stylised look is pretty much all this game has going for it. The locomotion is pretty crap, it didnt make me sick its just a poorly implemented system. No visable projectiles from your gun is another really strange design choice. It makes it really hard to aim the guns and seems off for the art style of the game to not have some kind of visable bullets coming from your gun. Honestly everything this game does Compound, its a free demo on steam, does way better and does it for free.

Just don't waste your time on it.
i get this game is going for doom/wolfenstien aesthetics but the EXTREMELY repetitive-feeling rooms and the heavy use of billboards just looks pretty ugly to me. the visuals look nifty in the trailer, but not so much when you get depth perception involved. feels unpolished, lacking in variety, and *slow*. moving in this game feels like steering a blimp (riding on mucus helps, but doesnt save much). this game mightve been great if it had another year or two in the oven, but it didnt, so it's not.
An off-the-walls campaign with a timeless artstyle, Quell 4D deserves some credit for being one of the scant few Vive-era games that still works almost perfectly on modern headsets. It won't blow your mind - there's only two hours of levels here and your walk is more of a relaxed crawl - but it's charming enough to be a positive experience.
