Queen's Quest 5: Symphony of Death

Schönes Fantasy-Wimmelbildspiel für zwischendurch. Die Story hat mir hier ganz gut gefallen. Mit den allerersten Teilen hat das aber nicht wirklich was zu tun. Zumindest spielen wir aber wieder die Alchemistin. Insgesamt für mich eher mittelmäßig angesiedelt. Schade fand ich, dass das Bonus-Kapitel keine eigenen Achievements mehr hatte.

A bit of a mixed bag. I wouldn't pay full price on this one. It's meant for a younger audience, for sure, but it comes across as lazy. A few puzzles are so easy they can't even be called puzzles. Many that are just embarrassingly easy. The good: Good art, good HO scenes, which is why I feel comfortable recommending the game. The alchemy is cute, though it gets a little repetitive (there's no puzzle aspect to making a potion, it's always the same steps in the same order). My favorite part is the cute lore behind the collectibles, especially the magic wands. The bad: All the action is always in a few rooms at a time. I generally don't like being forced out of old areas, but this time it felt particularly restricting. Really, it feels like that's just a way to trick me into missing collectibles. And I am missing some, but I won't play again. The overly-simple puzzles weren't satisfying, and overall the game wasn't especially compelling.

A very simple, but fun gameplay to a great story. I jumped into the story with this, what I'm assuming is the fifth game of the series, but still enjoyed it without the backstory. Games were very easy, but fun to play. A great way to relax at the end of the day. Music is also very soothing.

Same as all the previous Queen's Quest games: the HOG are more just random clicking games and all the games are too easy. The art is beautiful, so it's a shame they don't put more effort into the minigames and search elements. Unless you are a young child or if you like extremely easy/simple games, I do not recommend this game.

Загалом гра посередня. Якщо просто скоротати вечір, не докладаючи особливих зусиль, то може бути. Але якщо хочеться хороших головломок, то це явно не та гра. Плюси: - графіка непогана як для такого жанру. 3 / 5 - пошук предметів не набридиливий 5 / 5 - сюжет досить цікавий, але гонитви дуже погано продумані. Логіка багатьох дій така собі. Наприклад, замість того, щоб просто вийти з приміщення, ти умовну годину бігаєш кімнатами в пошуках мотузки, щоб спуститися через вікно. 3 / 5 - орієнтування на мапі 5 \ 5 Мінуси: - кінець дуже змазаний і нецікавий - головоломки здебільшого дуже легкі, більше пдходить для молодшого шкільного віку - алхімічний процес нецікавий: хоч маєш цілий набір з усячиною, але сам процес завжди однаковий і використовуєш тільки те, що назбираєш - анміація персонажів моментами дуже дерев'яна й неприродна - немає української мови Загалом грати можна, але брати хіба по знижці.

Fun game - nice challenges and ease of play.
