Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.57/day in the week to Jul 30 → 2.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
Old but still very relevant game! Believe it or not, takes a healthy system to run...

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 7: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Best game eva. q2dm1 foreva!
Yes. This is Quake II. We play Quake II. Everyone should. It's the sequel to Quake I.
As a zoomer trying original Quakes for the first time I gotta say I really prefer Quake II over Quake I (comparing singleplayer modes, idc about multiplayer). The level designs are a huge upgrade, much less tedius to navigate and more interesting to explore. Weapons feel more satisfying and enemies are more varied, have better animations and are less bullet spongey. I love the compass for finding objectives so I don't waste time going in circles looking for the next button or exit door or whatever. The overall feel reminds me a little of Doom 3 but much faster paced. The only thing I consider a side-grade is the art style, it's certainly more cartoonish than the first game which is not bad IMO but a noticable departure. So overall this game has more comforts and conveniences of modern games which I like compared to the first Quake which definitely feels more old school.
A really fun, fast-paced shooter that lacks depth and something that makes it unique/memorable. First of all, I really love this game's almost constant fast-paced action. It's genuinely really fun & rarely exhausting (until maybe the final units). I do think it has most of Quake 1's strengths with the fun movement & decent weapon design. It does seem to have more variety in terms of things, but those things feel like they have less depth compared to Quake 1. Most enemies feel the same in the way you play against them, so it can get a bit repetitive at times. The weapon selection is fine, it's mostly similar to Quake 1 but with I believe more weapons; however, weapons like the grenade & rocket launchers don't feel as fun to use as Quake 1's (the ray-gun is definitely a really fun addition though). Again, there is more but not as much depth/fun factor. Similar to Quake 1, you'll also have weapons that have a direct upgrade & make the previous ones basically useless. The level design is good for the most part & pretty fun but nothing super special. It definitely gets weaker near the end. One example was unit 9 being full of tank commanders at everyone corner; this enemy placement slowed down the combat a lot for no reason. It's not a fun challenge or anything as you can easily corner peak with a ray-gun. Still, this game was super fun to play. The designs of the Strogg enemies are cool, but nothing special. The overall aesthetic is a generic sci-fi aesthetic, and doesn't have the same memorability of Quake 1's. I do really like the metal soundtrack & it fits with the fast-paced combat. Overall, Quake 2 is a super fun fast-paced shooter that retains most of what makes Quake 1 super fun, but it isn't as memorable. I know Quake 2 wasn't meant to be a Quake 2 sequel, but it isn't as ground breaking or memorable as Doom 1 or Quake 1.
Great Game!
No se puede decir otra cosa, es QUAKE, un clasico, tiene algunos detalles como que algunos enemigos brincan de mas, pero de modo general, excelente juego.
