A game about a very happy guy and his boulder. (Warning: As an accurate representation of the ancient Myth of Sisyphus, this is likely the most difficult and punishing game you will ever play.)

About
A game about a very happy guy and his boulder.
Pushing It! With Sisyphus is a difficult and punishing game about pushing a boulder up a hill.
You push the boulder by walking/running into it, and try to reach the top. Be careful though, as tons of obstacles, surprises, and happiness awaits you ahead.
The higher you get up the hill the buffer you get. Start out comically skinny, and come out as a muscular, hulking monster. Try not to fall, as a single slip is all it takes to be back at the beginning.
Roll a boulder up a hill.
Get buffer the higher you climb.
Punishing and difficult but not impossible gameplay.
Lose all your progress at a single slip, and have no one to blame but yourself.
Experience levels of frustration not previously thought possible.
A metaphor for life, but unlike life, death is not an escape.
Attain happiness.
There is an end. You just probably won't make it.

I did it.
Just don't buy this game. It's an exercise in extreme frustration and utter pain. Literally. You have to hold a button down (shift) constantly to even make any forward progress, which places extreme strain on your arm. You will tire within a few minutes, and then there's the control scheme: The boulder has such a razor thin center to push straight, that even the most minute movement of your viewpoint will cause it to shoot to the opposite direction in such a way as to become unrecoverable within a literal half-second. You can't push straight, if the view changes even less than a degree it "takes a dive" straight for the "gutter".

Overall Rating: 2/10 - Is a rage game. That's kinda it. Compared to all the other rage games I've played (getting over it, chained together, only up, difficult game about climbing, etc etc etc) this has to be the most boring game I've played. The impossible mechanics tied with the boring layout and atmosphere, just make it.... really boring. So boring it's not even ragey. Don't recommend. There's way better options out there, especially with the high price tag.
If you want to have fun for 20 minutes then become addicted to beating it, torturing yourself, and restarting over and over, then this game is perfect for you. Overall fun but dang it's hard.
i gave it a try regardless of what other people said. shoulda believed them. controls are disgusting, absolute garbage, i had trouble just getting the boulder to start rolling up the hill because no matter how i pushed it, it didnt work. this game is trying to be like "getting over it" so hard, with the music choice and narration in the background
I love endless suffering!
Not very fun, chained together is much better.
I mess up and rage a lot, but it's still a very fun game and would 100% recommend it
This game proves, only the weak minded give up. Like girls do BOOTY UP, shout out benny jamz. By the weak minded, I ofc mean MyggeHygge the L legit fløde mark level af gamer, that is hardstuck emerald unless he's boosted. I recommend this game, if you are not weak minded (:
