Pumpkin Eater

An interesting concept and a great execution at the start of the game. Sadly, I think they could've used more graphic elements at the end of the story to make it less text driven and more shocking. It becomes rather dull by the time the ending comes.

streamed this game to my friends and they were very much disturbed, 10/10. I loved the attention to detail put into the stages of decay/death just beautiful

中评，科普性质绘本，科普＞概念＞＞故事。结束之后，还能在时间线结尾放的链接里查看科普小文章。故事性约等于零，甚至可以说有点无聊。主创自己也说了是灵感来源于惊魂记，玩下来觉得，更像是惊魂记缺少的尸变细节补充材料。题材上算微恐，但立绘画面画得很笼统，没有什么细节，主要靠文字描述辅助脑补。 对人体尸变过程感兴趣的，或者写小说的，可以把这个作为看不进去严肃科普文章的下位替代，拿来学习一下尸变小知识，其余不推荐。

It's better to hear the hook of the story, and just imagine it. This game puts a lot of emphasis on the imagery and realism of the decomposition, but I wish that research and gradual descent was focused on the characters. The characters in this visual novel devolved into madness so fast that my suspension of disbelief couldn't keep up. It felt like the writers decided on crazy plot beats before writing it instead of having a natural flow of descent. This story didn't have the focus or patience for itself.

Disturbing and tragic but well written story of a family. Nice game because it's scientifically accurate. I've learnt a lot about body decomposition too. I wouldn't recommend it to sensitive people tho.

a good game if you have nothing else to play. i found the text and dialogue pretty simple and straight forward which made the story less disturbing for me. the art was okay, imo it fit the plot and vibes of the game. the glossary and timeline with information about decomposition were a nice addition but overall the story was kinda weak

非常非常短的一篇绘本，除了用鼠标点没别的操作了。作者看着查了很多资料，用心的描绘了。 音乐有点重复了 不过很喜欢美术和文字中慢慢渗透出来的那种腐烂的感觉，hh。
