Would absolutely recommend this in place of whatever dumpsterfire Elite Dangerous is, surprisingly good community and it's quite the clean experience! Keep in mind the dev team is quite small but don't let that stop you from recommending changes or reporting bugs! They probably still want to hear that kind of stuff. I would absolutely love more to do in this game and I want to hopefully 100% what's in the game already as is. The singleplayer can be annoying at times due to AI not working exactly right, but it's quite the nice experience still if you don't have friends or people are busy. Or you just, need someone to cover a role and no one's joining. Favorite Co-op Indie game!
I realized after begging over 10 people to play this game with me that I should probably give it a positive review. It is more than worth the price tag, even if it's not perfect. Do get some mates to play it with, though. In the words of a friend of mine - "It's a better Star Trek game than the Star Trek games."

Сэр Да Сэр!
8 initial ships to start with. each detailed and furnished not only to feel like a starship but one you live in. different ships have more various weapons, programs, and counter mechanisms like cloaking. engineering system has a learning curve but playing single player is still capable and enjoyable. Game has built in Ai bots that can be given custom basic stand post settings along with quirks like putting out fires, repairing systems, piloting, manning guns. Frankly the pilot ai is just buns for fighting, its warp aligning and scrap collecting that their good at. different amounts of damage cause different internal system damage that varies and adds more quality of life, targeting engineering will shut down power and Operating System for enemy ship. if the side of the spaceship that the weapons are on aren't facing the enemy ship, the weapons won't fire... To my knowledge, the Pilot ai does not make any attempt to aim weapons correctly so I suggest self piloting under great fights.
Yes! Get it! Now release full tools for the workshop!!!!!!!!!!
Fun with friends. A bit slow to start. Could be more fun as some kind of Roguelite game, with faster pace per game.
Steep learning curve when trying to solo, don't rely on the bots to help much. Much better and comes alive when co-op. Still do the tutorials though, learning as you go will cost you time, ships and frustration. I recommend this to my my friends and family.
I want to like this game. But finding a mission is difficult, and it feels like wondering around aimlessly.
Space Barotrauma :3
Terrible UI, connectivity errors and its quality overall makes the game feel unfinished. In about 1h I found weird graphical glitches and I even managed to fall out of bounds
