Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.43/day in the week to Sep 1 → 0.71/day in the week after.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Jul 21 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Pulling No Punches takes the familiar side-scrolling beat 'em up formula and gives it a sharp contemporary twist by combining old-school arcade action with unapologetic social satire. Developed by BrainDead Broccoli and published by BrainDead Broccoli alongside QUByte Interactive, the game places players in a fictional world devastated by a pandemic where misinformation, reckless behavior, and public denial have become just as threatening as the disease itself. Rather than telling a conventional hero's journey, the game focuses on ordinary citizens who decide to push back against chaos, creating a narrative that feels both humorous and intentionally provocative. Its willingness to embrace controversial themes immediately sets it apart from many other indie brawlers that focus solely on action. The campaign follows four playable characters, each equipped with distinct fighting styles and abilities that gradually expand throughout the adventure. As players progress, new techniques and combat options become available, making each character feel unique instead of simply being cosmetic variations. The game encourages replayability by allowing players to experiment with different move sets and approaches, while steadily increasing the challenge through tougher enemy encounters and more demanding combat situations. Success depends on managing crowds, timing attacks effectively, and taking advantage of each character's strengths rather than relying on repetitive button mashing. Combat captures the spirit of classic arcade beat 'em ups with satisfying punches, kicks, grabs, throws, and special attacks that keep every encounter energetic. Enemies fill the streets in large numbers, forcing players to stay mobile while balancing offense and defense. Although the mechanics are easy to understand, there is enough depth to reward players who learn enemy patterns and chain attacks together efficiently. The pacing remains fast throughout the campaign, ensuring there is rarely a dull moment as new enemy types and increasingly chaotic situations keep the action engaging from beginning to end. One of the game's greatest strengths is its presentation. Every character and animation is hand-drawn frame by frame, resulting in expressive movements and impactful combat that stand out from the pixel-art style commonly associated with indie beat 'em ups. The exaggerated character designs, colorful environments, and comic-inspired aesthetic perfectly complement the game's satirical tone. Every punch feels weighty, enemy reactions are entertaining to watch, and the detailed animation gives the entire experience a distinctive visual personality that remains memorable long after the game is finished. Local cooperative multiplayer significantly enhances the experience by allowing up to four players to battle through the campaign together. Working alongside friends transforms encounters into chaotic and entertaining cooperative battles where teamwork becomes just as important as individual skill. Coordinating attacks, rescuing teammates, and experimenting with different character combinations adds another layer of enjoyment that recalls the arcade classics which inspired the game. While the single-player campaign remains enjoyable, cooperative play clearly represents the experience at its best. Beyond its gameplay, Pulling No Punches is driven by its social commentary. The fictional setting serves as a vehicle for satire, poking fun at conspiracy theories, irresponsible behavior, and the spread of misinformation through exaggerated enemies and absurd scenarios. The developers never attempt to hide the game's perspective, making its narrative bold, direct, and often intentionally uncomfortable. This commitment to its message gives the game a strong identity, although players looking for a politically neutral experience may find its themes divisive. Regardless of personal opinions, the game's confidence in expressing its ideas contributes to its originality. The campaign is relatively concise, making it easy to complete within a handful of hours, but it avoids feeling padded with unnecessary content. Unlockable character progression, multiple playable fighters, achievements, and cooperative sessions provide additional reasons to revisit the game after the initial playthrough. The focused length also helps maintain a consistent pace, ensuring the gameplay remains fresh without overstaying its welcome. Technically, the game delivers a polished experience with responsive controls, solid controller support, and smooth performance. Features such as Steam Achievements, Remote Play Together, Family Sharing, and local co-op increase its overall value. The soundtrack complements the frantic combat with energetic music, while the sound effects reinforce the impact of every attack, contributing to an atmosphere that successfully blends arcade nostalgia with modern production quality. Pulling No Punches succeeds because it offers more than straightforward beat 'em up action. It delivers satisfying combat, excellent hand-drawn animation, memorable cooperative gameplay, and a fearless satirical narrative that gives it a personality unlike most games in its genre. While its outspoken themes may not resonate with every player and its campaign is relatively short, its confident execution and polished gameplay make it an entertaining and distinctive experience for fans of classic side-scrolling brawlers. Pulling No Punches is a stylish and well-crafted beat 'em up that combines enjoyable arcade combat with outstanding animation and an uncompromising satirical story. Its memorable presentation, varied playable characters, and enjoyable cooperative gameplay outweigh its brief campaign length, making it a worthwhile experience for players looking for a modern take on a beloved genre. Punhos de Repúdio Nota: 6/10 Divertido, mas só quem viveu a pandemia vai pegar as referências, deixando o jogo um pouco datado.
esse jogo é muito bom divertido
A Beat'em up game with very Juicy sfx. Seriously Precious Animations as the creators say "handmade". There is some real nice comedy in this COVID 19 settings. A request to the creators. Please update the game with internal assets also converted in other languages. So, we can understand what the banners in the game says. And, steam points shop items could be very interesting. Introduce them.

Everything is good but shallow combat ruins everything
Adorei o jogo, é muito divertido, apesar de polêmico. Sinceramente, nem me importei muito com o fato de ser um jogo politizado. O importante é que me diverti. Achei o game muito bonito por sinal e gostei por ser curtinho também.
