its really worth your time but, i recomend for all beginners to please watch biginner video's i can't say how much it helps you but it does a LOT. when your past that first struggle as a beginner, the game really gets fun. But yeah i totally say give it a chance! It can't get more immersive than this. Not immersive enough? There is a hole community dedicated to mods to give you your dream apocalypse run. PS- Don't let your friends drive your car. otherwise it is - "This is How WE die". Also i had zero performance issues except sometimes the game crash if you load into a server or friend's server/world. Just restart your PC to clear you're RAM and it will most certainly work.
