Pros: - The characters and art style are lovely. Lots of personality here. - Great soundtrack & SFX; I like the track variants for low health in particular. - Many secret areas and bosses - Fun powerups - Bowling. - Swagthulu Cons - This player happens to be a noob - The stage transitions and time it takes to get into another run can get slightly tedious. An option to restart from the menu would also be nice. I don't mean that you should be able to restart at the very beginning of stage 1, but sometimes I feel like I've screwed up to the point I just want to kill myself (that damned harpoon powerup!), which also takes some time. Maybe the option to restart from menu could appear half way through the first level? I'm really happy with this game, and wish it had enough sales for steam cards or other things you could acquire with steam points. Not having these things is a real shame for a game so stylish. Buy this game so that I can eventually get steam cards for it. Dreams can come true right?
indies... plz stop making rogue lite and start making handcrafted, meaningful levels. Wanna develop a game has infinite replayability? Just develop rogue lite mode as side content I still remember all the levels and enemies in ZeroRanger. This game is good but Im sure i will completely forget this game after one week.

Honestly one of my favourite shmups in recent years. Not too tough but its random selection of stages and obstacles that is actually well executed. Has an excellently tongue in cheek design and is just plain fun.
If you think you're good, proof it to me in this game. Loving it so far heck ye :D
Awesome
A weirdo shmup with a bizarre sense of humor and a lot of charm. The gameplay was standard shoot em up with your ship that is constantly moving forward over a repeating background, lots of ♥♥♥♥ flying at you, and some power ups and special abilities. I just found it enoyable enough to make it through the first phase of the game but irritating and repetitive after that. If you're really into shoot em ups though check it out.
Although I do like the original Project Starship, this is an improvement in just about every way. More characters to play as, more interesting levels and bosses, a better soundtrack, a better art-style, the works. As far as roguelikes go, this is definitely, one of the best ones that I've played in recent years. This is also arguably one of the best shmups that I've ever played.
fun insanity once you learn how it plays.
I enjoy
