Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Jul 31 → 0.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Take control of Dakota, a career musician who, amidst writer's block, decides to isolate themself in a cabin in the remote Appalachian forest in order to record their next album. Take in this gripping tale, explore the natural environment and haunting dreamscapes, and fight to survive in this short horror experience.

A dark, enthralling 4-5 hour narrative to keep you hooked and guessing until the end.
Gorgeous visuals as you traverse numerous and diverse environments, presented with a cinematic, film-like aesthetic.
Ranged and melee combat with upgradeable weapons to help you survive your nightmarish journey
A stellar voice cast, starring Valerie Rose Lohman (What Remains of Edith Finch, Wolfenstein: Youngblood), Jonah Scott (Dying Light 2: Stay Human, Date Everything), and Aleks Le (Persona 3: Reload, Marvel Rivals, Ghost of Yotei)
A beautifully dynamic and haunting soundtrack composed and performed by Jacob Noska, and Jonah Henthorne: members of the band Auric Echoes

Hi, everyone! This is Conner. I just wanted to briefly say thank you for checking out my game and an extra special thank you to anyone who's supported me in any way throughout the creation of it. This is by far the most personal game I've ever made, and I think that'll be easy to see for anybody who plays through it. Much of the process for making this game involved just trying a bunch of weird ideas, and I think that, in the end, it all came together really well. No matter what, I'm proud of it, and I'm very happy to have made it. I hope it can help you in the way that it's helped me. Thank you!
Feel free to reach out with any questions, comments, or concerns. Just keep in mind that I'm a solo developer and will respond to the best of my ability :)

This game is a masterpiece. The story is so good. The voice acting is amazing. The atmosphere enchanting. I kept taking screenshots of the game. It really is one of a kind. Everything is so well crafted. Perfectly executed. Tastefully designed. I'm in awe. I'll give it a 10/10.
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ this game was something i needed to play, I thought it would be a classic horror game, but damn I was wrong. The amount of emotions going through you while playing it is crazy. It's crazy how real/educative/relatable it is to literaly any person. I was never so locked into the game like this. Under here is a spoiler don't read it if you have not played the game. When I got into the room full of game scripts on the wall writen on A4 papers, I read some remembering them from the game but one was sticking out I read it, it was conner's phone call with his dad, idk why but I remembered every bit of that paper just by reading it once later when it was shown, and it hit me emotionaly, which i was very suprised of myself.

10/10 I think this game was really amazing! I'm a huge fan of the genre, I think it's very artistic, stylized, vintage, relatable, touching, haunting, and the perfect length. The team did a great job and I think it's worth the price. I really loved this game because it felt like just real art ya know, I find horror to often be more artistic in a way than other genres. I love the setting, plot, characters, gameplay, areas just everything man it's really good! Proud of this team, I think this was a very artistic, introspective, scary, and enjoyable time. Thanks for reading and please have a great day! :)
I would rate this game a solid 8/10! For me personally I take away 1 point for storyline. This could be me, but I think the story didnt really finish with a neat bow, and that absolutely could have been the intention! For me it just didnt sit exactly right. SLIGHT SPOILERS AHEAD*** I really wish there was some more lore or tied up story for the Witch and the monsters. I feel like this part ended pretty abruptly and loosely. This could absolutely be preference or interpretation, but for me I feel like it just missed a significant chunk. I also dock a personal point portion for the combat in the game. For me it was clunky and felt a little out of place. Now to be fair for one I am not a combat heavy person, it's not my preference in games. As well as I believe this is his first game with combat being a component (I could be wrong) and if that is the case I think it was done very for that! Just needs to be honed maybe. Other than that my only complaints are that the direction in the game can be confusing- I dont need a game to hold my hand but I did need some help in parts. and I only had one part where I got glitched so the game ran pretty smooth other than that! I did very much enjoy the game! The graphics were beautiful, the game play was an excellent mix of fun and scary, and the voice acting was really well done! I think this game exceeds it's value on entertainment and I'm genuinely so happy I got the chance to play it! I will absolutely be playing and streaming more games from this developer :)
Project Songbird is such a though-provoking game. Some comments have been negative towards the combat in this game to the end of it not being needed, but in full context of both the story and meta-story in this game, I think it works very well. Without giving spoilers, the combat adds to the feeling of solidarity with the main character. I think Rush put it into this game for exactly this reason. Graphically, this game is very pretty and really enticed me to just finding stunning environmental views with the camera and its single roll of film. I would highly recommend this to anyone who likes story-driven, deeply emotional and thought-provoking games, which are entirely an experience and not just a series of mechanics. I thoroughly enjoyed Project Songbird and I wish many more would too.
A decent walking simulator.
The atmosphere voice acting and gameplay are amazing i was hooked until act 3 and the game glitched and i fell thru the map into an all white never ending scene. I tried to reload a checkpoint but the door leading to place the raven no longer existed. Nomatter what i did the progression stopped. Great game but this was a bummer having 40 people watch in suspense of the end of the game to say hey yall unless they fix it we wont see the end. I could replay it and do it again but in fear of it just happening again.
It was a cool game
as someone who lost a brother to suicide and is a struggling artist, this game was amazing. the depiction of psychosis was accurate to the actual mental illness experience, us and our partner system both felt like we were reliving psychotic episodes with the whispering and the creepy naked lady. I fear this game isnt understood by people who have not experienced suicide/sibling loss, psychosis, grief, and or the struggle of a starving artist who feels their works isnt as appreciated as theyd like it to be. this game was as equally terrifying as it was cathartic and healing to me. your work changed a life today, connor. and spoke to someone who really needed this. 10/10 from me <3
Project Songbird is an exploration in an artist's struggle that any creator can relate. Questioning your worth, the self-doubt, wondering if anyone will appreciate your art. All of this wrapped up in a horror game package. A strong narrative is important for a good horror game. There needs to be more than a cheap jump scare and a stressful chase. This game provided all that for me and kept me going.
