For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Recommended – A solid foundation with a lot of potential I purchased Project Mist without playing the demo beforehand, and overall, I think it’s worth the money. It definitely has bugs, but considering it’s in Early Access, that’s something I expected going in. The foundation is there for a really good S.T.A.L.K.E.R-esque game. The atmosphere, exploration, monsters, and bosses all work pretty well together. I thought the variety of enemies was good, and the balance between the different monsters and bosses felt pretty solid. It took me about 20 hours to beat, and that was with me scouring pretty much every nook and cranny of the map. I enjoyed the exploration and had fun throughout most of the experience. One area that could use improvement is the NPCs. They feel more scripted than alive, which takes away from the immersion a little. That’s not a huge concern for me at this stage, though, and it’s something that could improve considerably as development continues. My biggest criticism is that the current game feels almost like an extended demo of what Project Mist could eventually become. The “main” boss feels like it should really be the first major boss of many, rather than the end of the experience. Maybe my expectations are a little high for a $13 game, but what’s here made me want a lot more of it, which I suppose is a good problem for an Early Access game to have. There’s definitely room for improvement, but the core of the game is already there. I’m willing to wait and see where the developers take it and how the game evolves throughout Early Access. For $13, I got around 20 hours out of it and enjoyed my time with it. All in all, I recommend Project Mist for the price.

good horror atmosphere
worth every penny highly recommended
Ok, first off, I'm a seasoned player, but I bought it for the art direction mainly; it looked somehow special, gritty, atmospheric and I love these strange ambiances and art direction, even though I'm not a fan of dark fantasy for say. Here it felt different from the very beginning. What I love is the freedom you're given as soon as the game starts: you can wander across the map, loot, discover things on your own even before completing story goals. A big plus is the loot: it's everywhere, even hidden, and exploration really feels rewarding, as opposed to many other survival games where loot location is not particularly thought through; here it's like old times, spread a bit everywhere and mostly where you wouldn't think devs would have put stuff to. Well done on this part, I mean it! Everything feels pretty intuitive, you have tips to guide you through, but even then, things just make sense (how to drink safe water, cook and all is pretty straight forward and logical if you have at least two brain cells connected). I also like the fact that there's close to none invisible walls: you can go and climb almost anywhere within reach, you just have to jump a lot as the movement blocks you when the terrain slope is too much up, but even then as I said, you can jump forward to climb. This way, you can approach locations and POIs from anywhere, giving you even more freedom to make your way through, your own way. The level design is pretty nice, the atmosphere is spot on, the overall design is coherent, sound design is pretty good too for a work in progress, as well as for animations, everything is pretty well made, a big potential for real. There are some collision issues with the scenery here and there, but not that much (got through part of a rock at the edge of a cliff I was trying to climb down, but it didn't hurt as there were rocks not too far down to catch me safely). I'll expand my review as I'll play more, but I'm so enthusiastic about the game I really wanted to give a thumb up to encourage the entire team. I've had it in the back burner since it came out but decided to dive in and buy it today and I already can't regret it. Keep going with your special global vision on your project, it's already special in its own good way, thanks! Edit 1: the more I play, the more I love it... I forgot to mention all the physics, it's so nice to see it implemented almost to every item and prop! You can carry almost anything and throw it just for fun or for gameplay purposes, it's a really nice touch, as physics adds immersion, it breathes life into a videogame, as everything seems to exist and can be interacted with, which adds a lot, just as enemies hit and move boxes and such when moving. There also is a clear S.T.A.L.K.E.R. inspiration for some things (you'll discover it on your own) and I also must admit that I'm totally hooked in the game. Hidden loot, as I mentionned it, keeps surprising me as I search every corner of the map, and soooo rewarding to find things hidden here and there, with a bit of lore or little story you can rebuild with the environment. Big thumbs up for you guys, I LOVE IT, it's been a while since I've been drawn so gladly into a game, please keep up with your game and deliver something even bigger, you're full of potential with this, you can do it!
few bugs but a fun game
