Fun. If you haven't played any management games this feels pretty accessible, it was hard to let go of this game while i was playing.

Project Highrise is a simulation game where you manage a property to profitable margins. Developed by SomaSim, the people behind City of Gangsters. This is a rather chill game, and not really a nerve-wrecking management game. You get to set the property to be a office or residential building, or mixed development. The game is playable, but wish that there're better QoL features implemented. However it can start to get slow after having 1000 population or 100 floors mode. The Scenario games can be rather imbalanced on certain maps, as the pricing for the utilities are priced differently. Some of the Scenarios indicate Medium, but in fact is Very Easy. While some that are Hard, is really Very Hard. Minor graphical issues include, when the Construction Grid is enabled together with the tenants interface, the building outline is appearing above the text. The Utilities wiring can also be done neater, such that all five utilities are aligned vertically. The UI layout can be maximise to fully utilise modern screen resolution size. The whole of right side of the toolbar is empty, while some of the dialog boxes can be lengthen further to maximise the screen space. I wish there are more shortcuts available, such as the Utilities, Office Tenants, Apartment Rentals, Restaurants and Retails. It can be combination keys. I hope that there are also individual 'Decline' options for the Office Tenants, as OCD players may want to sort their layout accordingly to each category. There should also be an option or small indicator on each unit on what is the adjusted percentage of their rental. As there will be times where you still want to keep the tenant, by slightly lowering their rental for a short duration or during certain global events such as economy downturn. Without this can be a hassle to find back which unit has been adjusted. The ADA/360 even though it maybe neat to see the reports, but serves no better value than be able to highlight which unit it belongs to. Such as if I want to evict apartments that are only 1 tenant, it is able to indicate but unable to highlight which floor is it. Rendering that information useless. There is also no way to go back to previously saved Scenarios that you have completed, as there are only three save slots, and the constant auto-save just keeps overwriting it. The hardest achievement will be Scenario Success and Scenario Master, as these takes time to complete gold medals across ten scenarios. It will roughly take you 200hrs to complete all the achievements.
yesss good good
worth.
This game is actually quite a bit harder than I anticipated. If you make bad decisions (typically due to inexperience) you'll just lose the game. It took me about 6 attempts to actually start making money. It gets quite good after that hurdle is passed though. I kind of wish there was more optimisation ability though. You somewhat have to just take what you built a long while ago and deal with it. I'd also like more room customization options. Each room of a certain type looks exactly the same as the 15 other identical rooms around it. This games an enjoyable way to spend time though. I wouldn't necessarily call it relaxing, but it is fun and pausable
