Simple yet elegant and great, one of a kind game with mechanics as easy or as a hard you want it to be. Very fun, very intuitive, you are a fan of tycoons games buy it
You need another mod for a better playing experience
I loved SimTower as a kid. You can't play that game anymore without jumping through hoops. This game scratches that itch and is much better, a spiritual successor. SimTower had a lot of flaws: simplistic and elevator management was a nightmare. This game, you can build one elevator shaft and your done. Perfect! No Sims turning from pink to red waiting in lines. But this game offers a new kind of stress: managing utilities (power, water, phone, cable, gas), services (there are dozens of these, and different types of apartments or offices require different service buildings), and location comparability (some locations generate smells or noises that other locations may not like to be around). The strategy is really building just what you need just before you need it, so you don't wrack up a huge debt paying for services that aren't being used. Also, do yourself a favor and try not to push your utility usage much past 90%. Or else they start breaking down, people move out, and your beautiful tower turns to chaos really fast. CONS: 1) There are some information displays I wish were present, mostly a view of utility usage on the screen at all times would be amazing (instead of manually clicking on the utilities). If it's something that gets unlocked mid or late game, that would be perfect as well, I'm just getting started so I'm not sure. 2) Hotels aren't in the base game if you liked that vibe in SimTower. It looks like it's available in the Vegas DLC though (haven't bought, yet).
"Project Highrise," developed by SomaSim, is a detailed management simulation game where you design, build, and manage a towering skyscraper. As an architect and developer, you must balance the needs of your tenants, manage resources, and expand your building to create a thriving vertical city. The game offers deep strategic gameplay with a variety of building options, from residential apartments to offices and retail spaces. The art style is clean and functional, providing a clear view of your bustling skyscraper. The scenarios and sandbox mode add replayability, allowing you to tackle different challenges and creative projects. Pros: -Deep and strategic building management. -Variety of building options and tenant types. -Clean and functional art style. -Engaging scenarios and sandbox mode for replayability. Cons: -Can become repetitive over time. -Steep learning curve for beginners. -Limited visual variety and customization options. Overall, "Project Highrise" is an engrossing and strategic management sim that offers hours of satisfying gameplay for fans of building and simulation games. 8/10
Very fun little strategy game. I would call this a light form of the city builder genre. You're trying to make more money than you spend while also building new space and maintaining the space you have. There are contracts from the city you can optionally take on for additional funds, and some minor happiness metrics.
Fun and addictive management sim :)
[strike] i add stuff my tenants and office workers and all need. still, all mein tennants and offices as well as stores, suddenly complain about too high rent and they are unhappy. even while making more profit and from that point on i cant recover since everyone is starting to moove out suddenly and i cant recover from that since it costs me money. seems kinda unbalanced at medium because tenants suddenly change their minds about rent even if it gets better for them and i never increased the rents. rather the opposite. to keep them i try to lower the rents and still. even at 25% they move out because they are unhappy. (they dont tell why) [/stirke] Well, nevermind. i made it. i cant make it in Beginner, Easy or medium difficulty. but weirdly enough i am doing finde in hard. why does Hard seem easier than the easier difficulties?
