very narrowly recommended, maybe on a big sale. it's basic, not challenging or interesting, but it is solid enough for a microvania i guess. Easy to 100% quickly. smooth chill game.
Short charming Wonderboy inspired metroidvania. You lose all momentum when attacking (air and ground) that took some time to get used to. Found some bugs but it's very quick to restart the screen you're on. I 100% the game in ~1.5 h.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

What a charming little game - very simple mini-metroidvania with nice level design and 8-bit cutesy graphics. It's not going to challenge you too much and might take only a couple of hours or so but it just feels so nice to play an old-skool platform / explorer without it being dead hard. Nothing original but fun, and certainly worth the money.
A very cute mini metroidvania with some Super Mario World mechanics thrown in.
You can change the difficulty if you like, but Normal is pretty breezy. I'd recommend this if it's your first metroidvania because it's a great stepping stone into the mechanics of this type of game. The death counter is just that. Dying doesn't put you back to a checkpoint far away; it just keeps track of how many times you die. I had a lot of fun and it's a short game, so you can finish in one sitting. Dinosaurs are awesome
I enjoyed this little game here. It is a side-scrolling metroidvania but one that is very easy. I finished it in about 3 hours. This would be a good introduction to newer game players. The music is solid and platforming is spot on. What is SP for? I never had to use it!
ENGLISH: Of all the LightUP games I've tried in this style, which we could consider a mini Metroidvania, this is the most complete. The inclusion of dinosaurs adds a fresh touch that will undoubtedly further enrich future titles. Riding a dinosaur and shooting enemies is an absolute joy. Additionally, I love the mechanic that allows you to reach higher places by jumping off the dinosaur while it's moving. I believe that incorporating these new dynamics into the game's maps and secrets will enhance the experience in the long run. The music is enjoyable, and the graphics maintain the essence of previous titles. Perhaps the samurai game was one of my favorites, though I couldn't say exactly why. However, this one, which subtly reminds me of Wonder Boy or Adventure Island, kept me hooked until I completed it entirely. Great job, as always! I eagerly await more games in this style. Thank you for your hard work.
Baby's first metroidvania, finished it 100% in 2 hours It's nice and simple, with a basic moveset that expands the more collectibles you find (some of which are optional, but still fun to use) The only frustrating thing is the momentum when jumping and attacking (which stops you), and turning around after landing a jump (you're unable to, which leaves you open to an attack from an enemy that you jumped over, and it'll happen a lot). Overall, it's a fun game to play and finish, perfect for a chill afternoon, although it really has no replayability. Still, it does well what it was supposed to do.
I typically do not like Metroidvania games, but when it is disguised as a charming and fun platforming adventure like this then I am sold!
