Never a dull day in Moonbury! I really liked the game. It's very immersive, cozy and lovely. Absolutely recommend it! All the characters are unique, have interesting stories and lives which we get to know through different events and encounters. The story is simple, yet feels nice and rewarding when you are getting accepted by the villagers by doing nice things for them and for the town. A gameplay is pretty chill and simple. I never felt that I need to grind resources (except for the achievements). At first the game might feel quite slow, but soon you get more and more things to do every day. Romancing is cute. And I really liked that every romanceable character has their unique date options according to their characters. Also, you have a doggo! And there is a cat in the town! Plus 100 points to the game. Also the dog can find a location of any NPC which is very helpful. The things I found a bit annoying - fishing! The mechanic is easy but catching one fish takes a lot of time! But you can skip these tasks. - to get all the achievements you need to do bad things - to reject healing 10 patients. I don't want to ruin my good character! A couple of tips: - you can do all 3 side jobs every day - go everywhere to get all the events (even inside people's houses and their 2nd floors). They can be triggered all around the city and at different times of the day - talk to everyone, don't rush and have fun So, I really like the game, wish it was longer. 10/10

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Even if I tried I couldn't come up with a more boring game. You just grind everything, from materials, to reputation, to minigames. Only to get small tidbits of poorly written story from thoroughly uninteresting characters. You don't even get to make that many potions. Avoid.
Got soft-locked in the Mayor's office after an early quest. Couldn't leave the office after all dialogue. Not about to deal with a game that soft locks under the first hour.
The game was fun, but good lord, what is with the DLC prices? I'm all for spending a little extra to support the game, but that's some serious overpricing.
I’ve enjoyed the game so far! As a Steam Deck user, I am only 5.9 hours in at this moment, and I noticed that the button labels changed. I wouldn’t really care, but it’s made it difficult to use the map or craft potions. Hopefully that gets patched soon. Thanks!
I think that this game could be genuinely likable to someone, but it's not my personal cup of tea. I don't think this game is a Stardew Valley rip-off. To say that does a disservice to both games. As someone who really enjoyed Stardew Valley, the main similarity is that you live in a village and can develop relationships with them, which I don't think is a thing Stardew Valley came up with, lol. I believe that most people who like Stardew Valley would not like this game. There's a lot of different ways you can spend your in-game days in Stardew Valley... but there's only really one way you can spend your day in Potion Permit. You forage in the wilderness and then you can complete the daily tasks around the village. Fishing is eventually introduced to the game, but I personally find it too easy and too long for it to be something I prioritize. What distinguishes this game I think is it's various mini-games. But I don't like any of them. There's a rhythm game that... doesn't have any music? Or even a metronome? I think that was an interesting choice for sure. I find them all far too simple and repetitive. Although, I totally would have thought it was cool when I was 10 or something. I think this would be a great kid's game. I don't enjoy the villagers. It takes a very long time to level up to friendship and they only have 2 or 3 talking lines a level and it's not very interesting. There are 3 camps of villagers. One group are just nice people who are kind. Another group are people who hate you for no reason. And the third group of people are the ones who tell you that you should be nice and kind to the people who are discriminatory/racist/xenophobic to you and that they're actually really nice people, not bigots. I hate that third group more than words can express. I'm too old to think that's a good mindset. I would just leave or never talk to the rude people or be rude back in a real world situation. There's also no narrative reason for you to be there. The mayor's daughter gets sick and their witch doctor can't heal her, so you come in to heal her.... and then you just stay? And no one goes to the witch doctor anymore even though he's been treating the villagers for ages with considerable success? And people who hate you and distrust you and think you are up to no good go to you instead of the witch doctor? Even though the clinic is so dirty and messy and unmaintained that anyone who stepped foot in their would get tetanus immediately? Like, I would find the challenge of the jerk villagers appealing or at least tolerable... if you had a reason to stay there. Like if you actually had a mission or a purpose. But no you just steal all the clients from this loyal witch doctor who is still in town and well respected for no seeming reason at all. But I think the Chemist should just go back to the capital where she's appreciated omg I tried to give this game a good shot and finish it, but what eventually got me was the disproportionate material gathering. It's so easy to make money. It is very hard to get wood and stone (of which there are limited amounts you can harvest every day and no way to buy them), all three of which are needed for every single upgrade. So I find progression very unbalanced and frustrating. But some people enjoy repetition and schedules and the general rhythm of life. I just like a little more variety and polish than this game can offer. But as I said previously, when I was a kid I would have really enjoyed the simplicity and the dog, lol. But unfortunately, I think if you are an experienced gamer who enjoys a challenge or strategy, this game would not appeal to you. I'm sure some people who consider this game cozy or enjoy the repetition if they had a podcast on or something.
It took me way too long to realize this is a Stardew clone
A fun lil game. I loved the pixel graphics. I loved the potion making and the cast of characters. After the story was complete, things kinda slowed down. The last batch of achievements were a bit grindy. A fun experience over all. Would really recommend it.
