Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 24 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Fantastic meditation game, zero b***t and 100% useful practices that really help calming my mind. The visuals are really soothing - everything in Playne works for me, I would recommend it to anyone having problem with anxiety or feeling losing control of what's happening in their mind.
Beautiful game, though not flawless. There is a bug that has been bothering me but it's not gamebreaking and it doesn't affect gameplay at all really and you may not experience it.
Hey you! Yeah! You! Pay attention! This isn't as much of a game as it is a tutorial in how to take better care of your self, which means pretty much anyone can get something out of this. I can echo some sentiments here and say that it helps me to de-stress, but it also did something cool. It helped me clear my mind and realize what I really want in life. IT helped me find focus I once thought lost. I don't know if our developer overlord reads any of these, but I want to thank him for putting this out there, and I hope that he too has some modicum of peace. TL;DR version: Get this in your library and start down a positive path today. You will not be disappointed

I was searching to see if there were any games based on meditation and came across Playne. At first, I didn’t buy it because my old laptop only had an integrated GPU and the game recommended a GTX 960. After upgrading my setup, I bought it on sale and started playing. The meditation exercises are simple and easy to follow, and practicing them daily helps develop a consistent meditation habit. You can choose how long to meditate and track your breathing and thoughts. The game lets you pause or stop at any time, and even short sessions can be helpful. The game has two meditation modes. The first is the Habit Building Mode, where your in-game campfire grows day by day and can be fully grown in 60 days. If you break your streak, the campfire resets. The second is Passive Mode, where the campfire grows based on the total number of days you meditate, without depending on a streak. Overall, this is a game that people can play every day to focus on meditation and it is the only good meditation game I have found on Steam.
PLAYNE is an unconventional and quietly ambitious title that challenges traditional ideas of what a video game is meant to accomplish. Developed by Krish Shrikumar and published by Vismaya, PLAYNE positions itself not as a test of reflexes or strategy, but as a tool for mindfulness, reflection, and personal well-being. Instead of objectives measured in scores or victories, the game invites players to slow down, breathe, and engage with meditation practices that directly shape a tranquil virtual world. At the center of PLAYNE is a simple yet meaningful concept: your real-world mindfulness practice fuels in-game growth. Players arrive on a serene island that begins largely barren, gradually transforming as meditation sessions are completed. Trees grow, wildlife appears, weather shifts, and new areas open up, all reflecting consistency and time spent practicing awareness. This connection between personal habit and virtual change gives the experience a sense of purpose that goes beyond conventional progression systems, making the island feel like a personal space shaped by presence rather than performance. The game offers multiple ways to engage depending on how structured or freeform the player wants their experience to be. Guided meditation sessions provide narrated exercises focused on breathing, awareness, and relaxation, making PLAYNE accessible to newcomers who may be unfamiliar with meditation. For those who prefer independence, open-ended modes allow players to sit quietly, observe the environment, or simply let the ambient soundscape accompany their thoughts. Over time, additional areas of the island unlock, offering gentle incentives to return without applying pressure or urgency. Visually, PLAYNE adopts a calm and minimalist aesthetic rooted in natural landscapes. Soft lighting, gentle color palettes, and flowing environmental animations work together to create a space that feels inviting rather than stimulating. There is no visual clutter or intrusive interface competing for attention; instead, the environment encourages stillness and observation. The sound design is equally restrained, relying on ambient audio, natural effects, and subtle musical tones that support relaxation without dominating the experience. One of the more distinctive features is the sandbox-style creative mode, which allows players to design and customize their own meditative environments. This mode emphasizes expression and comfort, letting players shape landscapes that feel personally meaningful or emotionally grounding. While this creative aspect is not deep in a traditional construction sense, it complements the game’s philosophy by reinforcing agency and intentionality rather than complexity. PLAYNE also includes optional virtual reality support, which further enhances immersion for players with compatible hardware. In VR, the sense of presence becomes more pronounced, as environments surround the player and meditation exercises feel more embodied. While the core experience remains effective without VR, this option broadens the ways players can connect with the game’s calming intent. Progression in PLAYNE is deliberately subtle. There are no fail states, timers, or punishments for stepping away. Growth happens slowly and naturally, mirroring the real-world process of building mindfulness habits. This approach can feel refreshing for players seeking a break from high-intensity or goal-driven games, but it may also feel aimless to those expecting clear structure or constant feedback. PLAYNE asks for patience and openness, rewarding consistency rather than short bursts of engagement. Community response reflects this niche focus. Players who approach PLAYNE as a wellness tool or meditative companion often praise its calming atmosphere and its ability to encourage regular mindfulness practice. Others note that its value depends heavily on personal expectations; without interest in meditation or reflective play, the experience may feel minimal. This divide highlights that PLAYNE is not designed to appeal broadly, but to serve a specific purpose thoughtfully and sincerely. Ultimately, PLAYNE stands apart as a rare example of a game built around mental well-being rather than challenge or competition. It uses interactivity not to stimulate adrenaline, but to foster calm, reflection, and routine. For players interested in mindfulness, stress relief, or simply a peaceful digital space to return to, PLAYNE offers a gentle and meaningful experience that redefines progress as presence and growth as patience.
As a person that has suffered from depression, anxiety and an overactive mind, I was recommended to try meditation by my therapist. Playne has helped me tremendously in my journey to better mental health. I'm still learning and growing but I feel like I make progress everyday. Thank you.
Too early in the habit building process to say how effective this will be or how it can affect my life in the long run but I can say, at the very least, that through Playne, for the first time in my life I feel like I'm actually meditating and it feels good.
This game offers a variety of meditation options, with incentives to make it a daily mindfulness practice. I absolutely adore this game, and highly recommend it to anyone looking to find peace.
A simple way to start a meditation practice. The "game" is mostly there to serve as a way to set a time, and save a few metrics like streak days, time meditated and so on. The story is a little interesting, though because it took me so long to reach each milestone I had somewhat forgotten what was going on. Graphics are nice, nothing absolutely amazing, but for a game that is primarily meant to be "played" with your eyes closed and not clicking or typing, they are nice. I enjoy the ambience of the environment and the weather, though I had to adjust some of the sound levels to reduce distractions. The guided meditations are okay, though there aren't very many of them. They become slightly repetitive, so I usually default to unguided. I had asked in the discord about potentially using other audio files for guided meditations, as there are a huge variety of them freely available online. The response was that the way I could do that is to play it in the background while Playne runs, but that there wouldn't be modification of the game to allow for that. Perhaps relevant to you, perhaps not. All in all, I do highly recommend this game and it's cousin Inward. I think everyone would benefit from meditation and this might help you to make it a habit.
