«Plantera» — это яркий и беззаботный кликер-симулятор фермы от студии VaragtP, в котором игроку предстоит построить и развить собственное процветающее хозяйство. Вы берете на себя роль управляющего уютным садом, где маленькие забавные круглые работники автоматически собирают урожай, стригут кусты и ухаживают за животными. Геймплей построен на медитативном развитии: чем больше золота вы зарабатываете на продаже ягод, фруктов и продукции животноводства, тем шире становится ваша ферма и тем больше помощников удается нанять. Однако расслабляться полностью не получится — периодически на владения будут совершать набеги хищные птицы, волки и хитрые лисы, от которых приходится отстреливаться с помощью специальной собаки или пугала. Проект подкупает своей милой мультяшной графикой, простыми правилами и расслабляющей атмосферой. Это отличный выбор для фонового прохождения, когда хочется просто понаблюдать за тем, как скромный клочок земли превращается в огромную и прибыльную империю.

I bought it as part of a bundle, because the bundle deal was cheaper than the game I wanted to buy was by itself. I would not have bought it on its own, even if it is a super cheap game. It's an idle game. Not incremental, not really. Only money increases, but there's limitations on what you can buy. And the costs of crops/trees/bushes/animals/etc, doesnt increase that drastically as you unlock new items. Like maybe a fifty to a hundred coins more depending on the item, meanwhile while you were away for a couple hours you just earned 5,000 coins. The math doesn't math. The gameplay is boring. There's nothing to do but click, which honestly you don't even need to do because the game will do it for you. You just lose out on a few coins. Whoopie. And when you leave the game, you only earn money while you're away. Except to unlock new items you need new levels/experience, which you only earn & level up while the game is opened. This game would be a totally different story if you leveled up too while you were away, even if it was at a slower rate. Instead, you exit the game, earn coins for however long you've leveled up your away status for. And return to the game with a ton of new money but the exact same super cheap items you can buy for your garden. The only thing super costly is the buff to increase your away time. Otherwise money is generally almost useless. You don't need the thousands and thousands of coins you earn while being away for multiple hours. There's not that much to buy & reinvest in. Great, I'll increase my away status so I can earn more coins to spend on nothing useful next time. There's way better idle games out there than this one.

Plantera 2: The Golden Acorn is just so good. I really Recommend it.

Plantera is a casual idle/clicker game where you build crops and animals in a field. Progression is measured through "coins" earned - higher level crops and livestock generate more coins that will level you up faster. The game is quite simple and there is not much to min/max or optimize. You simply just click on things casually. There are other animals that will chase yours or try to steal your crops, but even if you do nothing the impact is quite minimal. It would be a reasonable game for a child to play due to its simplicity. I'm giving it a thumbs up even though there is realistically only enough gameplay for around 5 hours. The game is aimed towards a casual audience and I think it hits the mark. For achievement hunters, you will need to play somewhat actively for around 5 hours then just idle to get the last few. Easy and nothing missable. Rating 6/10
