Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Jul 21 → 1/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
The round blue Mellows return to tend to the garden once more and grow the big magical oak tree that have been rumored to have placed its seed there. Build up your garden around the tree to attract Mellows, round blue creatures that will help you pick up things and harvest your plants.
Tend to the magical tree and harvest its golden acorns, and grow your garden from a small vegetable patch into a sprawling sanctuary of plants, vegetables, bushes, trees and cute animals and creatures.
Start with nothing more than a small flat plot of land and a few vegetable crops to harvest for money. You must buy additional crops and gain experience and money to level up your garden and unlock new and more advanced crops and items.
Adorn your garden with decorations and watch as your garden grow more lush than ever before with new flora and get populated by new animals, both in the sea, on the ground and in the sky.
If you want you can pluck trees and harvest plants yourself, or let your Mellows do the work for you while you watch or build and invest in new plants. The Mellows will even continue to work and tend to the garden while you are not playing the game.
Adorn the garden how you see fit with a collection of decorations including a variety of flowers, mushrooms and water plants.
As you play you will unlock new items and as you continue to expand and improve your garden your magic oak tree will grow ever bigger with it, soon reaching its crown to the sky and beyond and maybe even discover its secrets.
Build the Garden of Your Dreams: Design, decorate and inhabit your garden with complete freedom. You get to choose what and how many crops, bushes, trees, animals and decorations are placed within your garden.
Continue to Grow Even While you are Away: With the help of the Blue Mellows, your garden will continue to grow new crops that are harvested, earning additional money and experience even while you are not playing.
Level up and Unlock New Crops and Animals: Gain experience and level up unlocking an array of new crops, bushes, trees, animals, decorations, plots of land and even special items such as hats and masks for your friends the Mellows.
Scare off Unwelcome Guests: Scare unwelcome visitors from the garden such as Sly Foxes, Grumpy Hogs and UFOs among a variety of others out of the garden by punching them or setting up defenses such as Guard Dogs, Fences or even Bees.
Interactive or Sit-back and Relax: Interact with the game by harvesting crops, warding off baddies and adding new items to your garden or simply just sit back and watch and relax.

I paid 5 USD and got a solid five hours out of it. I mainly played it as a way to take a brief break in-between grading or something. Grade a few papers, play until I'm out of coins/acorns, grade more papers, repeat. But then the upper limit of everything gets hit and there's not much else besides clicking buttons. You can't even really create a pretty farm since the screen gets so so so busy.

Don't let the visuals fool you. This game is about slavery.
It's just not fun, man
Compared to the first game, Plantera 2 is so much better. It features over twice the amount of content and keeps you busy with many more clickable items and meaningful upgrades. There's new powerful endgame content as well. I would say that this game perfects the feeling of scaling in idle games, and a comparison shows why. The ultimate goal of both games is to get to level 100. It felt like an artificial extension to gameplay time in the first game because there's nothing interesting to do past a certain point and the rest of the game is checking back every hour or so for the level up. In this game however, the constant stream of upgrades and satisfying gameplay kept me actively playing until the very end (except a break in the middle). If you're looking for an idle game that's fun to play, this game would be an excellent choice.
I recently had the chance to try out Plantera 2: Golden Acorn, and while it's not without its charms, I found myself underwhelmed by its overall experience. The game has a certain cute quality to it, but beneath that surface lies a rather shallow gameplay mechanic. The core of the game revolves around waiting for new items to unlock and accumulating wealth, which quickly becomes a tedious exercise in patience. With little else to do beyond collecting resources and watching your wealth grow, I found myself feeling disconnected from the experience.
