Pixel Starships is an FTL-style online sci-fi strategy builder and management game with a competitive PVP tournament. Set in the retro galaxy, your role is to explore space, meet aliens, and develop your ship, crew and AI. The game contains deep strategic and 4x elements. PSS is community-driven.
Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. The player count below is how many people own it, not what they spent.

Great game - f2p definitely possible. Paying sometimes speeds things up but not needed. This game forces you to think and there are so many ways how you can bring your ideas to life. Versatile and a helpful community. Definitely a strong recommendation - not so much the successor PSS2 - I looked at it but stayed happily with PSS 1.
I like it

Basic and fun mobile game but extremely pay 2 win. The amount of players on early levels is quite low, so if you don't get past the Gold rank quickly (which is pretty much the 3rd rank, very easy to get into), you'll face the same whalers and smurfers over and over again as there's no one else on the queue. The in-game market, another would-be-fun mechanic, has been taken over by multiboxing since its early days and nothing was done to fix it - not that it'suseless but takes lots of the fun out of it. Steam shows only the amount of hours I've spent on computer, but I've been playing the game on mobile almost since release and not much changed.
always wanted more out of FTL but this isnt it
Various fun strategies and a healthy community to learn those strategies from! I've definitely enjoyed it on steam and mobile so far!
I don't have much time in the game currently, however this game scratches an itch I didn't know I had. I would recommend this game to people who play very casual. I can't wait to see more.
very fun game but also VERY hard for new comers
I would recommend this game to people who like single player games, and chill games. i just started playing it & I've already been playing for 3 hours!!
I 100% recommend this game. It is so fun and relaxing. There is so many things to achieve in Pixel starships, and The developers are still updating This one even after releasing Pixel Starships 2. They are updating both of them almost every single day, that just shows you how determined the Developers are with their game and how much they truly care about their players. 10/10 game, Highly recommend playing.
