Piczle Cross: Story of Seasons

May not be suitable for those with older computers. Initially the game froze and I couldn't play it at all. When I changed to a newer laptop the game worked perfectly and I was able to play. Enjoyable game with about 27hrs playtime. This is a relaxing game. The puzzles are very forgiving and although the game tracks mistakes, hints, etc, there are no achievements related to playing without hints/mistakes, or any timed achievements. - 200 regular puzzles ranging in size from 5x5 to 20x25. - 5 collage puzzles. These are large images made up of smaller puzzles. - There is a feature which allows you to enlarge the puzzle slightly, which is helpful on the larger (20x20+) puzzles. - You can disable the custom cursor, which I found vital because the game's cursor is far too large, and points downwards instead of upwards. I never realised this would make such a difference to me. There were some glitches: - The game would freeze upon start up on my 5yr old laptop, but had no issue on my new laptop. - Every time I opened the game it would default to the game's cursor, even though the settings still showed my preferences from last time. This was fized by deselecting + reselecting the cursor option upon starting the game. - The game crashed once with an error message. I could not tab out or close the game, or even view task manager as the game's black screen would not minimise. Restarting the computer fixed this, and I had no further crashes.

Dreadful performance on my laptop. Everything was choppy and I often missed movements due to lag. Did such a simple type of game really need all the 3D graphics? It's a shame coming from the excellent Piczel Adventure. That one had wonderful pixel art and moved as smooth as butter. I'm also not a fan of the change in art style. Besides the 3D not looking as good, this game also had problems with colors being too similar. The light greens and dark greens and various browns blended together, making it often hard to tell if a row was complete or not.

I absolutely loved playing Piczle Cross: Story of Seasons! It’s the perfect mix of challenging nonogram puzzles and the cozy, relaxing charm of the Story of Seasons series. Solving puzzles while watching the farm come to life with crops, animals, and seasonal changes was so satisfying. Plus, the game’s customization options made it feel tailored just for me. A delightful pastime for puzzle and farming fans alike!

犹豫了一下还是给了不推荐，主要问题是谜题太简单了，几乎等于全简单，如果是牧场物语粉丝+想入坑数织可能还行，但如果是冲着数织来玩的话没必要。 优点是背景是牧场，会随着谜题进度种菜养动物，还有四季的变化。 有一本近年来的牧场物语作品的小图鉴，当然最近作品被诟病的画风问题也是让这个图鉴丑的不行，如果你不喜欢近年的画风，那也是没有必要因为这个入手。
