It's obviously not as good as Brotato but it's alright. Balancing and Local co-op would take this game to the next level because it does have something.
Good Game, More to do than in Brotato.
Pretty good, especially for price.

It´s not a bad game and the artstyle is neat. But balance and economy could use a big overhaul. You can use a mutation to have a bigger chance on getting (i.e) mechanical weapons in the shop and still have to re-roll 5 times to get a second mech-weapon. You get one active ability and a dodge roll. The abilities just don´t seem very impactful and a lot of weapons have to be unlocked by simply not using your dodge roll. Thats just wasted potential. Using another character than the starter pickle pete is next to useless. You have to use a lot of the botteled currency (which instead is just better put into upgrade of your companions) to unlock them and in the end they are nowhere near to the numberless playstyles the characters in Brotato bring to the table. The game is cheap and you sure can get some hours out of it. It could have been a great Brotato-Like but I feel like the developers didn´t understand why Brotato does some things the way it does.
One of the best rogue-lites ive played. Lots of meta progression to keep the 'we go again' mentality. lots of sub systems for progression. just a very well built and balanced game for the crazy low price tag. People compare it to brotato, or a brotato knock off, but in the end, a good game is a good game. They're both good,.. not like you're spending 70 dollars on a triple a game thats a 'knock-off'... its 8 bucks
There is a lot of positives in this game, but unfortunately the experience becomes rather flat rather quickly. Unlocks/gear upgrades are extremely grind intensive but don't add anything really of value. Being able to permanently scale damage and health makes difficulty a trivial consideration and there is nothing really interesting in terms of synergizing items towards a character's playstyle like Brotato. Had some fun with it, but after a while my desire to grind out things that at the end of the day had no consequence or meaning dwindled away and I subsequently uninstalled.
super fun and addicting, and with the recent patch they actually fixed all the minor gripes i had with it from playing it non stop since i purchased it. these were tiny issues mind you, but great to see they pay attention to feedback!
