Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.71/day in the week to Sep 12 → 7.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Photomaly is PSX-style first-person horror game where you take over the photography studio your father left behind. Process orders from strange customers, decorate your studio and keep an eye out for things that don’t seem quite right...

Photography isn’t always as simple as pressing the shutter. Find the perfect angle, develop film under the right conditions, prepare the final photos, and make sure they end up in the right hands.

Greet and serve the local community. Each customer comes with their own unique requests, quirks, and stories. Get to know your patrons and fulfil their orders. Just make sure not to pry too deep…

When business is slow, customise and decorate your workspace. Hang your favourite prints on the wall or create the perfect wallpaper for your PC. Use your profits to unlock and purchase studio upgrades – better equipment, better setups, better results.

Developing films pays the bills, but something isn’t quite right. With every photo taken, you get a little bit closer to [REDACTED]. The [REDACTED] seems to know some things as well…

There are plenty of things to like about this game, and I enjoyed my roughly two hours of playtime, the jumpscares were actually fine the first time through. There's not much depth to the story and what little writing you get is very disjointed, but indie horror games aren't known for their stupendous writing. It's fine. I also encountered a bug with the placement mode in the frames that meant I had to replay night 2 over again. Not a huge deal, but apparently this game is kind of buggy. And then you get sent to the backrooms. The sequence isn't hard at all, just tedious enough to make me not care about the outcome. It's mildly annoying the first time, but if you're able to manage the mannequin enough to get it on the second or third attempt it should be fine. But to me, this was the death knell of the game. I quit the game entirely after a couple of attempts because I just couldn't be bothered to care. Personally, I cannot stand immersion-shattering moments in horror games. The number one way to make me quit your game is to annoy me sufficiently with things that don't enhance the narrative or add anything of substance, but detract from the experience. The backrooms section is that. It's just something the developer put in to make gamers Soy Pog and that's all. The sad part is that you don't even have to remove the backrooms part to fix this issue. Just patch in a branching outcome and make it a one-time thing. If the player completes it, give them an achievement and some in-game money, if they don't hit them with a jumpscare or other "bad" solution to the "quest". Just don't make finishing it's tedious gameplay loop mandatory. Is it a fine horror experience? Sure, if you don't mind a very tedious speed bump.

Jogo bem divertido, mas sinto que podia ter mais lore, espero que o dev faça de alguma forma um universo compartilhado que conecte esse jogo a outros no futuro.

非常好玩 這款遊戲性非常有趣 也夠嚇人
Great game over all! Runs perfectly on Steamdeck. The horror and jump scares was quite well done. However, there are some flaws. I wish there were more upgrades and business mechanics. By the half way point I had so much money and nothing to buy. Then the Backrooms part got annoying fast and lost the cool and horror factor. I enjoyed the game over all, I would gladly recommend it
과하지않은 점프스퀘어 많은 공포게임 입니다 아 놀래서 주글뻔했어요 그리고 엄청 큰 응가가 나와요!
Hate this game. Would recommend it to friends. 12/10
Enjoyed this short horror game! Always love horror games with the ps1 aesthetic! Got scared a few times! I do wish the ending was stronger! NOTE FOR DEVELOPER I had a softlock where I accidentally put a photo in a frame and had to restart the whole day. There should be an option to remove photos from photo frames to avoid this minor annoyance! Overall good effort and I'd love to see what you do next! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 3/5
