Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 14 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

It has a mediocre sci-fi horror plot, which would be fine, but making a stealth game without the ability to lean around corners? ♥♥♥♥ no. Also getting hit 2 times and its game over - when spotted it's easier to just get killed than to run. Also no idea how exactly the clone enemies work, because i literally could walk around them within 1 metres range, and then suddenly one attacks me. Ugh.
we need chinese. chinese we need. we chinese need.

Had potential, but it's like the devs lost their interest after putting some effort into it. Other reviews summed it up, but one thing I had an issue with that I didn't see in other reviews is the poor autosave system with no manual saves. This game involves picking up documents and other necessary items, but when you have to restart it's hit or miss where it will start you and with what items. In one instance that ended the game for me, I started with a door locked again after I had used a code to unlock it the day before. I no longer had the code, and it was no longer available to pick up. The game is at least priced fairly though.

Phantaruk is a sci-fi horror game that tries to capture that “trapped on a spaceship with something hunting you” feeling, and for a while it actually does a decent job of building tension. You wake up alone on a deteriorating research vessel, dealing with limited resources, locked doors, and something hostile roaming the corridors. The atmosphere is the main highlight here - dark, claustrophobic environments, flickering lights, and constant uncertainty about what’s around the next corner. The game leans heavily into survival horror mechanics like managing resources, avoiding threats, and slowly uncovering what went wrong on the ship. When it works, it creates some genuinely tense moments where you’re trying to stay quiet, conserve supplies, and not get caught. Unfortunately, the experience is held back by a lot of rough edges. The enemy AI and stealth systems can feel inconsistent, and trial-and-error gameplay sometimes replaces actual tension. Instead of carefully planning your survival, you can end up just repeating sections until things go right. The good: - Strong sci-fi horror atmosphere - Claustrophobic spaceship setting works well - Some genuinely tense stealth moments - Resource management adds pressure - Sound design helps build tension - Decent sense of isolation and dread - Environmental storytelling is interesting - Occasional effective jump scares The bad: - Inconsistent enemy AI - Trial-and-error gameplay can be frustrating - Stealth mechanics feel unreliable at times - Repetition during failed attempts - Limited enemy variety - Controls can feel clunky - Progression is slow and uneven - Some mechanics are underexplained - Can feel unfair rather than scary Overall, Phantaruk is a flawed but atmospheric horror experience. It succeeds in creating a tense, isolated sci-fi setting, but the rough gameplay systems often get in the way of the fear it’s trying to build.
Absolutely horrible. So dark you can't see anything. Stealth that barely works, enemies spot you when they absolutely shouldn't and only rarely give you chance to escape, moving really slow when you try to pass them(with few enemies that get random zoomies) but rushing you the moment they spot you, turning on the flashlight around them is a death sentence. Antidote mechanic is weird, it gives you brief slow mo that isn't useful in any way but you have to do it to see anything at all as otherwise your vision gets blurry. The only positive was the lore just wish it was delivered in a better way.
Good Indie Horror ;)
Phantaruk - Spaceship, mutant, stealth - sounds like a great day at work. A horror that doesnt scare but is still fun. Phantaruk wants to catch me and i'm hiding like an idiot in the corner, hoping he doesnt spot me
