Pet Lands: First Steps

"Pet Lands: First Steps" looks like an advert/demo for a game that isn't released, and taking a look at the developers catalogue it looks like that's all they do... asset flip together a basic open world survival minimum viable product, make a couple of adverts for it, then move on to the next minimum viable product. Obviously this kind of scattergun asset flipping methodology isn't producing games of value for gamers, and that insincerity is a problem. What do you do in the game? This is just another minimum viable product tech demo... wander around asset flipped environments and see how the developer ripped off a bunch of stuff from Fab/Unreal Marketplace to make a weak Palworld ripoff. It's a clunky train wreck. The game graphics look better than you might expect, but that's just because it looks like some or all of them are "borrowed" from asset stores or wherever. Gamers can tell... and it comes across as insincere. There's also the old adage that those who lack the budget and talent to make their own game assets usually lack the budget and talent to do the rest of the job of game development properly, too. This is "free" enough, at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good. It's important to note that, despite this being such a low quality product, there's a number of positive reviews that all appeared immediately after the game launched, from suspiciously inactive Steam accounts that have reviewed almost no other games apart from this. Take the review score of this game with a grain of salt. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. While this didn't cost me any money up front, I still feel ripped off.

The never ending hustle of grinding for clicker game...

一般般，前1个小时还算有点新鲜感，后面完全就是一模一样的重复的话，确实就没意思了。不过毕竟免费，拿给小孩打发时间应该还行。
