I tried very hard to like this game, I much enjoyed Persona 5, Persona 5 Royal, and Persona 3 Reload. And that's not to say I didn't like it for the older tone that the game has. Obviously it has aged from the development of what the newer gen games will show. I played the game on Very Hard at first, figuring I was pretty good at persona games and never really struggled with them on higher difficulties. But that's just not possible without new game plus. I understand these games take a while and are slow at the beginning but I just had a hard time opening up the game after a while. Played it on normal for a bit and I still struggled to understand the progression system. You earn no money, nor exp from any bit of interaction. And then the game just throws some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ at you with a instakill that still 1 hits blocking. I was dissapointed, not in the story but the dungeons. I just cannot find myself having fun with it. I hope revival will make me happier.

10/10 — Mi juego favorito. Desde 2022 no sentía que un juego me atrapara de verdad de esta manera. El año pasado Cyberpunk 2077 volvió a hacerme sentir algo parecido y este año Final Fantasy X me encantó, pero Persona 4 Golden está en otra liga para mí. No recuerdo la última vez que terminé un juego sintiendo que realmente había vivido un año junto a sus personajes y peor aún, llorando. Inaba se siente como un lugar al que llegas siendo un extraño y del que terminas llevando en el corazón. Los Social Links, las conversaciones, las bromas del grupito, los momentos tranquilos y, sobre todo, la relación entre los personajes hacen que llegue un punto en el que ya no estás jugando simplemente para ver qué pasa con la historia: quieres seguir pasando tiempo con ellos. La historia del misterio me tuvo enganchadísimo, pero creo que lo que más me terminó ganando fue el tema central del juego: aceptar quién eres, enfrentarte a lo que escondes y encontrar personas con las que puedas ser tú mismo. Hay momentos genuinamente emotivos y otros donde simplemente estaba cagándome de risa con el grupo. Y aún a mis 24 años, me ha enseñado algo de la vida <3 La música es espectacular. El diseño de personajes es buenísimo. El sistema de combate y la fusión de Personas me tuvieron obsesionado intentando conseguir mejores combinaciones. Y aunque algunas mazmorras pueden hacerse repetitivas, para mí no fueron suficientes para quitarle mérito a todo lo demás.
