Persona 3 reload is a fantastic persona game and in a lot of ways can be considered the best. From an emotional and world building storyline this definitely outclasses the other titles. This is not your happy sunshine and rainbows persona game as it is dark, gritty, and will inflict a lot of emotional damage. It does a great job with its primary cast of characters and even handles the side characters well for a vast majority of them. The turns the story takes are also done incredibly well and keep you on your toes wondering what will happen next in a lot of scenarios. Gameplay is the only thing I have a gripe about. Keep in mind this is an incredibly streamlined persona game and easily the most respectful of your time when it comes to the gameplay itself. Exploring Tartarus is super stream lined and all of the animations are sped up to respect your time. Pick a card is faster, general menu navigation is faster, even chest interactions and combat animations are faster. The big problem with P3’s gameplay is that it plays like mementos in P5. It's the same looping floors, same looping layout, same song and dance but on repeat. It's a chore to put it simply and not a fun one at that. Unlike the superior dungeon layout like you find in P4 + P5 you don't get any world building, any impactful bosses, no meaningful storyline, it's just a bunch of pointless looped enemies and chests. It feels like a grind for the sake of grinding. It also doesn't help that you need to use a teleporter on select floors to go to the entrance just to save. Thankfully the overworld, characters, and storyline carry the game so much so that it's worth the slog of gameplay. Your teammates develop so much over the course of the game and they do a wonderful job developing each of them throughout the playthrough. Some of the side social links are done incredibly well and are some of my favorites across the entire franchise. I will mention that the soundtrack is kind of a mixed bag with this title if you care. Lastly, the soundtrack to this game is phenomenal. It isn't as good as Persona 4 but it's an easy 2nd place out of the Persona franchise. The remakes for most of the songs are a definite improvement and add a lot more impact throughout the experience. This game was definitely worth the journey and I'd highly recommend playing it if you are interested!

Persona has changed my mindset about gaming. As someone who always played competitive games, my first impression of persona was that it looked boring, but I played p5r as my first persona game and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, it was great and left me wanting more. And here we are with p3r Other than tartarus (I disliked mementos 😭), the story is amazing. If you're looking for a great story game, this is THE game you're looking for.

Persona nunca falla. Es cierto que a pesar de ser un remake no puede superar en mi opinión a todo lo que te ofrece el Persona 5 Royal, su sistema de Vínculos es muchísimo más irrelevante, las historias individuales de los personajes en su mayoría son demasiado sencillas y puedes llegar a perderles la atención, pero sin duda, es un juegazo. Entiendo lo que la gente dice sobre que el Tártaro es bastante repetitivo y creo que me quedo corto, pero no se me hizo tan pesado como el Mementos de Persona 5, aunque la verdad que Persona 5 quitando mementos es demasiado bueno como para compararlo con esto. De todas formas en comparación a mementos, mínimo el Tártaro se me hizo algo más dinámico con la Hora de Barajar que mínimo me daba algo más en lo que pensar cuando entraba, aunque en su mayoría skipee todo lo posible de este y me enfrente a los Bosses básicamente. Aun me falta por pasarme el Episode of Aigis pero por ahora el juego solo me duró 60 horas de las 100 que pone en otras páginas así que entiendo que el resto son todas de Aigis. No me voy a meter en tema de batalla final, pero es cierto que aunque me moló, siguió demasiado la estética del juego, es decir, que es sencillo. Eso si, bastante rompedor en mi caso aunque bastante esperable. Dicho todo esto, de los mejores juegos que he probado, no el mejor pero sigue en el Podio. ATLUS SACA PERSONA 4 REVIVAL YAAAAA
