Lock a target, read the angle, and null your transversal for a clean shot. Turn direct hits into brutal volleys, stacking buffs, and wildly misplaced confidence. Perihelion: Rogue Orbit is a 2D space combat roguelite where you fit ships, control range, and make every shot count.

Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 10 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Perihelion: Rogue Orbit is an arcade space combat roguelite where your best shots come from how you fly.
Lock a target, control range, and work the angle until your guns have a clean shot. The key is transversal velocity: how quickly a target moves across the line of fire, and whether the guns can keep up. Cut across enemy fire to break their tracking. Match your target’s movement to create the perfect firing solution, then commit before they do the same to you.
Clean direct hits build Overdrive, stacking damage and fire rate as long as you keep flying well. Finish an enemy with an Overdrive hit and Shield Surge boosts your shield recharge, giving you a chance to carry that momentum into the next fight.
Build your ship from weapons, defences, and utility modules. Heavy guns hit hard but struggle to track fast targets. Defensive modules keep you alive but leave less room for firepower. A fit that dominates at long range can unravel the moment something fast gets underneath its guns. A close-in brawler has to get under enemy guns without starting a fight it can’t finish.
Runs last around 10–20 minutes, with reshuffled sectors each time. Clear sectors, scan anomalies under fire, neutralise priority targets, and destroy hostile structures. Fit, launch, make mistakes, learn the angles, and come back sharper on the next run.

Fun space game, can take some time to master how the combat works, but once you do is very satisfying. Only downside is no microtransactions, launch DLC or paid horse armour...
Even at the initial release this is a good bit of fun, there's a lot more going on that I initially thought with the whole transversal aspect of things. Gives some very near EvE meets retro top down vibes. Keen to see how this progresses too!
A fun game with great native Linux support!

Was so focussed on minimizing angular velocity that I accidentally relearnt spiralling into your intercept target from first principles, 10/10. Phenomenal feel to ship combat, the game encourages you to optimize your attack runs but good target management helps forgive slower approaches. Clear influences from Eve Online but has managed to make the gameplay much more engaging! Cutomizations/fits are a bit limited right now but offer some variety to your runs. Core gameplay is super slick so I'm excited to see how this gets built on with future development.
The best part of Perihelion is without doubt the hardest part to describe or explain. This game, feels excellent. The way the ship responds to movement and the behaviour of each module feels very satisfying. It shares with EVE the importance of transversal and application, but unlike EVE, manual piloting is pretty intuitive. While lazy orbiting is still definitely an option, and very viable with some ship configurations, the rewards for flying manually and the general feeling of threading the needle between incoming missiles and shots, feels exhilarating. I also like the little conversation going on at the left hand side of the screen from PERI, your sarcastic helper of sorts. The game has a lot of character for something that’s so mechanically light and basic.
nice little game, very simple roguelike, kite and orbit!
Eve online meets Asteroids. Good Fun
Satisfying space ship combat with little nostalgic hints of EVE Online, what else can I say? My first 2 hours had me saying: "AMBUUUUUUUUSH!" "ONE MORE SECTOR..." "NOOOOO I GOT GREEDY" Devs definitely have their fingers on the pulse, it sure scratches an itch.
Really good fun, quick to pick up. Could do with a little more variety in missions/waves. Definitely scratches several gaming style itches.
Pretty fun game with a solid combat system, like EVE with less stress. Customization is a bit limited, but there's still decent variety with the attachments. Missions can be a bit repetitive as well, but the game is in early access so I imagine there is still a decent more to be added. Combat is fairly addictive and the soundtrack is relaxing. Overall 7/10.
