About
Classic Golf gameplay, inspired by Hot Shots and Tiger Woods games, updated for Disc Golf! A faithful interpretation of the sport powered by Unreal Engine 4 and coffee.
Heads Up: This is NOT the version of the game that can be played with a TechDisc! Steam doesnt allow apps that require outside subscriptions. That is available on itch.io, search for Perfect Round Disc Golf there, or follow the link from the Tree Branch Games website to find that version.
Real disc golf! The best physics in a disc flight simulation, combined with DGA Mach 7 baskets and 51 real Discraft/DGA discs creates the most realistic disc golf game to date.
Play alone, or bring some friends! Level up your abilities in a solo round, 8 player online matches, or invite up to 3 friends over to your house for some face to face trash talk!
279 holes to play! From a challenging par 2 island course to championship style courses with par 4 and par 5 holes, master each of 16 unique courses and compete for a spot on the global leaderboards!
Wacky characters! Because who wouldn’t want to play disc golf with Sun Wukong, the Monkey King? If that’s not your thing or grandma stops by for a round, you can always turn on nonfiction mode.
Motion captured animations! The most accurate animations for a disc golf game yet, all recorded with a motion capture suit from real throws by myself. Give me some form tips!
Having been a gamer since playing Civilization 2 on my parent’s Macintosh, when I started disc golfing 8 years ago it didn’t take long before I looked for a game in the style of classic golf games, but with the unique flight and challenges that come with disc golf. When I realized that game didn't exist, the idea of creating it myself stuck with me until I finally downloaded Unreal Engine 4 and started learning the engine to make it. This is the disc golf game I want to play, and I am always taking recommendations from other players who feel the same.

camera angles are awful. having to hit space right in the little yellow area is annoying. if you're off at all you will miss a 10ft putt that should be a tap in. the camera is always at your feet when choosing a throw. your throwing power is never the same twice. the ground physics are straight dog trash. even if the disc hits the ground on a roller angle it will just stop in its tracks. the tree hitboxes are too big. you can be a foot to the side of the tree and still end up hitting it. just all around needs alot of work to even be playable. also the main menu is awful. cursor just dissapears.
Good stuff - the disc physics are terrific - this feels very close to the real thing. Graphics not too shabby, decent selection of courses Poor stuff - the whole upgrading skills/virtual gold thing is a bit hackneyed these days. Perhaps redoing the UI altogether might be a better experience. Fiction mode is a bit silly. Wishlist - more courses! Lots more courses

awesome game a lot of fun and its realistic!
The game is very buggy and very frustrating to play.
I wanted to like this game, and i do like certain aspects of it. unfortunately, i cannot recommend this game. there are far too many inconsistencies. "Shot preview" does not match most of the time. If you're off on the accuracy the slightest bit you will get a chain spit out even if it hits perfectly. Controls are wonky I only played the tutorial course and two regular courses, and the design was not good Not a big deal but the characters are lame AF Disc selection is nice, and you don't have to grind for days to buy them like in Disc golf Valley (DGV) Skills are a good idea, but are poorly executed Again, i wanted to like this game because DGV is kind of butt, but its just not worth the price. at least with DGV you only waste $5 Unfortunately i'm going to have to refund. i may buy again down the road if major improvements are made. Good luck
Fun with friends! I've tried every disc golf game I could find, and this one is the best of them. It's not a great game, and has a long way to go, but consider this: Big game companies haven't been interested in doing it. It's a niche sport, therefore when someone makes this kind of effort to give us something worth playing, I pay! I want to support independent creators, because I am one and know how hard it is, especially solo or small team. This above all games at least gives you real discraft disc options, and control over your throw.. Avatars need work, but guys cmon, this game is actually pretty fun. Turn the music down, jam some spotify, and grab your friends. It's a good time regardless!
I'm addicted. Disc golf during the day and Perfect Round at night. If you are wanting a fun game to play online with some of your disc golf buddies you've found it. The game is really straight forward for people that play disc golf and understand the basic flight mechanics. I couldn't believe that the discs in game flew how I expected them to! Right now there is an extensive lineup of Discraft and DGA discs that are available. You have to play with your character and earn coins to buy them, there is no pay to win option. After buying a game I appreciate not needing to buy anything else. Perfect Round Disc Golf definitely has an indie game feel to it and that's one of my favorite things. The game was created by a single person. I ran into an issue with tap ins not working and sent a message in the discord and within a day the creator of the game patched the issue. That is amazing! I'm excited to see what's in store for the future of this game. It feels like it's only the beginning of the journey and the possibilities are limitless. I would really love to see things like a course builder, disc degradation, disc customizations, and online tournaments in the future. If the game goes that direction or not I'm still going to be trying to throw that Perfect Round.
Overall, it's a good game, and worth picking up if you're into disc golf- though the disc interactions with the ground feel a bit off. Looking forward to see what happens with this one in the future- would like to see stroke limits and some flavor of character design/editing added in.
I'm upset that we purchased this game... It's the worst buggy mess I've ever played.
Will definitely enjoy during the winter months. More satisfying than disc golf valley when you throw a good shot or make a long putt.
