Just a pretty standard resource management game, with an amazing story behind it, and the idea of terraforming a planet is always a huge win for me. Personally its a massive yes.
Fun to play. If you're into the semi-automated base building genre, then this one is the most suitable for you. Some content is locked behind the DLC Blue Mars, but you can still finish the game without it. Recommend to get the DLC if you plan to play a save file in a long run

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Start is pretty cool but to get to Late game is very hard considering you have to do the same and wait
Przyjemna gra o terraformacji marsa.
Die Diagramme sind state of the art, sehr inspirierend, an manchen Stellen fehlt etwas die Detailtiefe.
It's a fun game that satisfies a certain itch for low-conflict 4X. Instead of expanding, exploiting, exterminating, etc you're effectively gardening, and that's nice. The story mode is serviceable but not riveting. I played through the sandbox first and I would recommend doing that because figuring out how to terraform and progressing at your own pace is more rewarding than the story which I often felt hampered my progress. I only wish there was more to do in the end game. Once you have a bunch of greenery the game is basically over, but what about ecological management? Urban expansion? Maybe even economic concerns like exports? You can eventually unlock open air farms and cities, but by the time they're viable there's no point. I might be asking too much, but I wish there was more reason to stick around once the terraforming objectives are completed because I want to be able to enjoy the greened Mars more. Regardless, it's a good time while it lasts, worth the money I'd say.
Per Aspera is a really good game and one I can definitely recommend. The building mechanics are great, especially the way connections are created and managed. I also liked that your decisions actually matter. On top of that, the game stays true to its core.
