Ehhh, it does the worst thing an incremental game can do. Make you realize you are playing an incremental game. It never changes how you approach or look at the game, it never has an upgrade that lets you say, choose where to aim or anything crazy. And the lack of a prestige system is...interesting to say the least.
I don't normally post negative reviews, but I'm not impressed with this game. While the game feels pretty polished and has a lot of upgrades and stuff, the pace at which I was unlocking things was boring. And while there are many colorful effects on screen during actual play, I spent about 90% of the time staring at the very small power meter while trying to shoot balls just right so they hit the top of the game field to maximize points. I found that even though there were tons of upgrades, I was able to collect about 10k per run, so bigger upgrades just meant more grinding to acquire. And since the entire thing was manual, I felt limited to blasting through my queue of balls to get to the next round. I will probably keep playing it to feel I got my money's worth, but I am not enjoying it.

I can't recommend this game in good faith. There are two main issues: 1. The lack of skill expression. You spend most of the game just pressing the same button and holding until a certain point. 2. Because the power meter on the right is the only thing to interact with, and you have to look at it to judge the power correctly, you spend basically all your time staring at that meter instead of looking at the game itself. I constantly felt like something was happening in the middle of the screen but my eyes were glued to the bottom right.
Nice visuals tied to a pretty boring game loop. You never really have to or are incentivized to change the way you play from start to finish. Just charge for like a second so the ball falls from as close to the top as possible until you buy everything. 2.5ish hours to do everything but it dragged so hard at points that I was shocked to see I hadn't spent twice that amount of time playing. Having some powerups that affect the way you shoot balls could've been nice, something like a rapid fire or burst fire. Let me charge up and fire 3-5-7 balls in a row, or at least remove the firing delay. Let me charge the bar up faster, anything. The whole game is about slowly ramping but the way you fire balls stays almost identical all throughout. The "PWR-UPS" are pretty uninspired too. Also it seems like any time you get bonus balls from things like the mirror it doesn't actually copy the ball you hit it with but just pops out a basic ball - why? Let things get crazy. Felt like the unlocks and interactions were being played so safe until about 75% through and even then things never got awesome, just kinda neat.
It's pretty bland in the long run. I love incremental games and I love plinko/pachinko style games, but this is not great. You launch balls and slowly grind. The grind gets slower and longer as the game goes on and even when you fill the board you still watch balls goes down the tiny sliver that doesn't give you points. Pass on this, find a better alternative.
It's boring. Everything unlocks way too slow and having to mindlessly sling balls for 3 runs to unlock the next minimal upgrade doesn't feel good.
Been playtesting this game since the demo released and now its finally out. A fun dopamine filled incremental with great pixel art. If you like balls, pegging or massive combos this game is for you.
Recommended with a few caveats: 1. There is a bug where the gravestone costs 90m, instead of 9m. This has to be an extra zero, because this is the most expensive item in the game by a huge margin, including the upgrade that comes after it. 2. There NEEDS to be an auto-launcher at some point. Add it as an upgrade. The best way to play the game is to just time your launches, so you end staring at the right side of the screen while the spectacle plays out of the corner of your eye. An auto-launcher would allow you to actually watch the game instead of the side of the screen. 3. The balance is all over the place. Certain upgrades you get early are mega strong, others are completely terrible. Due to them being linear, you make yourself weaker by upgrading, as great balls (i.e. watermelons) will show up super rarely compared to terrible balls (i.e. basketballs) once you unlock the later upgrades. It's a 6/10, but could easily be a 7.5 or 8 with minor QOL.
Finished the game in roughly 3 hours. It's pretty boring. Another "unlock all the upgrades" and that's it, except it's plinko instead of digging a hole, or pressing a button, or scratching tickets, or whatever. So in essence, it killed about 3 hours, as far as entertaining not really. There's a ghost peg that if RNG allows to be hittable will just infinitely spawn ghosts and trigger pegs, so that happened and gave me enough cash to unlock everything else in 1 run. If that's your kind of thing you'll probably love this game, and for the price of a domestic bottle of beer why not. I guess I'm just over these kinds of games personally
Short, but lots of fun. 8/10
