I've never played a game that is so badly optimised that it looks bad AND has terrible frame rate. Its usually one or the other. This game is so bad its good... In a funny way. Within the first 10 minutes of the game I had to hand in my gun to visit Polly Gray and the guard (who is one of 3 male filler characters you see EVERYWHERE) took my gun while trying to smoke a cigarette and had it glued to his hand. In short, the only highlight of this game was the bug. The rest was terrible. I refunded it.
Pretty bad for a vr game. There are lots of little things to do, riveting gameplay mechanics such as "picking up some stuff". Lots of weird bugs. It looks pretty bad (environment aside). I'm glad the game was short because I was thoroughly disappointed. I wanted to like it, I loved the show. But this was ass, what did you do to their faces? The best things were watching arthur go bananas (until the animation went to ♥♥♥♥) and the smoking. You can flip the cigarette, light it, tap the ashes off, it's great. TL;DR; Would only recommend as a smoking simulator when on sale.

Review (7/10): Peaky Blinders: The King's Ransom offers a captivating journey into the gritty world of 1920s Britain. The atmosphere is easily the game’s strongest point — the foggy streets, old brick buildings, and constant overcast skies perfectly capture the dark and moody tone of the era. The story is also engaging enough to keep you hooked, with solid pacing and interesting characters that fit well into the Peaky Blinders universe. However, the game suffers from noticeable technical issues. To enable the highest texture quality, you’ll need a graphics card with more than 8 GB of VRAM — and even then, textures can still appear blurry and lack detail. Despite these optimization problems, the game’s atmosphere and story make it worth playing, especially for fans of the show or anyone who enjoys the aesthetics of early 20th-century Britain.
烂的无以复加
Слишком уж короткая и крайне плохая оптимизация , но несмотря на эти недостатки , мне понравилось
Game just doesn't work with Quest 2 / Quest 3. Image tearing all the time, it's unplayable. Long story short: All other games works fine, all perfomance overlys / logs shows that all fine but image is just tearing. Is an excellent game and adventure, and if u r a fan, it is a delight experience... enjoy
I wanted to love this, but damn it's a stutter fest! it's very difficult to enjoy it when there's little to no optimisation! After changing a few Oculus Debug Tool settings to play nice with a link cable.. the game feels completely different, it's now a thoroughly enjoyable experience! Quest 3 users absolutely must change a couple of settings to make things click better for us, via link and not air!
First I'd like to state. I have never watched Peaky Blinders the show. I have no interest in entertainment that romanticizes criminality. That said, this game was able to create an enchanting atmosphere of 1920s Britain I much enjoyed. Graphics were clearly tailored to limited processing power of something like the Quest. However, I still spent considerable amount of time just looking around the environments. Levels are sort and linear. So is the story. Not much meat on the bones there. However again, There was a charm to it all I could have done with a bit more of. Gunplay is simple and Arcadey. Additionally the game will often intentionally disarm the player. Either by removing ammo or taking the gun itself away. Leading to some awkward situations that could only play out they way they do. By disarming the player. After finishing the game. It offers several Shooting Galleries to continue playing. I never actually died by gunshot. If your looking at this game for it's engaging gunplay elements. I would look elsewhere. The only Bug I encountered was a reoccurring and annoying one. Physics objects the player is intended to interact with. Often got stuck in the surface they were sitting on. This includes the players hands too. Overall I found the experience Short, Simple, and Enjoyable. Definitely NOT worth full price. BUT! Worth a tenner for a short little spot of fun.
