Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 18 → 3.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This is NOT a bad bowling game in terms of the bowling itself. What makes it bad, and not worth $40, is the laggy menus, terrible graphics, and inexplicable ability of FarSight Studios to turn UE4 into an unstable, crashy, buggy disaster of an engine. Like that takes a special level of talent-or lack thereof, depending on your perspective-to do so. I really want to recommend this game, but I can't. This is like one of those Midwestern cars you see well taken care of on the outside, so it looks well cared for, until you look closer and see the engine's a rusty hunk of metal, the muffler's got holes, and the exhaust is about to fall off. This may look like a game worth $40. Instead, I wouldn't pay more than $10.
It's a great game, but the mechanics are inconsistent. It's addicting and infuriating at the same time. So, in a way it is bowling because it is not an easy sport. But when the game throws you into a one in a million chance to get a strike, it becomes a boring ride along where nothing you do will work. Even in real life that doesn't happen to me and I am no pro bowler. I'm not saying that I want it to be easy because it does have that simulation feel to it. Just asking for some consistency in the mechanics. I just played some more and I have determined that the mechanics are absolute trash. How is it that when I score perfect release and perfect timing I end up with trash shots, but if I get an okay release and/or okay timing, I score a strike. I honestly don't know WTF I am supposed to be doing to find any kind of consistency. It felt good in the demo, but the further I get into it the worse the mechanic performance is. The thing is, it isn't even like the AI is that good. It's playing like trash tool. I think the game is confused about what its mechanics are supposed to do. I would love the game if it didn't become so damn frustrating. I think the devs need to seriously consider looking at the programming in their mechanics. I'm not the only one who has made this complaint.
If you enjoy bowling, you will enjoy this game. Worth your time and money.
First of all, I want to summarize that while I am ultimately recommending this game, it is NOT worth paying full price for. Wait until it's about 50% off and then it will be fair value. It's an enjoyable game with its flaws and can be vastly improved in more than one area, but it's clearly the best bowling video game I've played to date. You can tell that a lot of work has gone into making the bowling balls feel realistic and like you're throwing a real ball down a real lane at real pins. Speaking of which, there are a ton of bowling balls with varying compositions and hooks to choose from which gives the game a lot of variety and replayability. I also really appreciate how the game makes bowling feel in-game because bowling balls and pins are not easy to predict in real life and so simulating bowling is generally easier said than done. FarSight has done a good job of making me feel like this is the most realistic bowling game out there by a mile. Player models aside, the graphics otherwise look passable and the High preset works well at 4K@120p on my two year old PC. And I also like the satisfying sound effects produced throughout my time playing the game as they feel immersive enough to keep me rolling. However, my main gripe is that this game makes you put the tinfoil hat on and feel like the game is out to get you. My theory is that the RNG algorithms for this game are simply half baked and made so that the game is incredibly cheap rather than incredibly challenging when you traverse through Career Mode. In my first day of Career Mode, I went god mode on a lane that had just the right pattern for me to click and I was on pace to break 220 somehow because I struck 4 in a row to open the game. What does the opponent do? Hits five strikes in a row to end the game at 256. In Tier 3 of like 8 tiers. I kid you not. Of course, I retry and they are suddenly down to a score of <150 with consecutive open frames on multiple occasions. Not to mention that the CPU seems to gutter-spare at least one frame every game which is bizarre when it has no problems stringing together turkeys whenever I'm running hot myself. I also used to bowl in a league and even competed in regional tournaments a long time ago. I'm no professional, but I understand bowling well enough to know how to hit the pocket and convert all but the most difficult splits. With that said, the pins in this game are just absurd. The amount of times that they sway or jiggle significantly and do not fall is beyond frustrating. As someone who used to hit the pins so hard in real life that I am literally familiar with how 100% power works in real life, I am even amazed at how many times the pins will ricochet like that golf ball at the end of Happy Gilmore and yet they won't hit the final pin to give me the mark that I want. I'll just drill the 1-2 pocket or 1-3 pocket at the perfect angle, and it feels like a 50-50 coin flip as to whether or not I just hit a strike. It's really too bad because if the pins didn't feel so "rigged," I would otherwise be very content with the physics behaviour as a whole as well as the game engine. Lastly, a minor gripe but the commentary is clearly outdated and I feel like I'm getting lectured all too often for having "a lack of focus or concentration" whenever the game decides that my ideal shot was not worthy of scoring a strike or spare. Clearly, there's a soundboard of maybe two or three dozen voice clips that gets shuffled through from game to game. I'd argue that a complete overhaul of the commentary is needed in the next rendition of this game. Overall, PBA Bowling 2026 is very fun to play for 30 minutes to an hour at a time whenever you come home from work or something like that. It has a ton of potential and could be an iconic sports title with a lot more playability as soon as next year with the right makeover. But as is, it's a tedious chore to play at times and just not worth paying $51.99 CAD for.
A "Happy Birthday" present to myself that I have enjoyed. I'm not an IRL bowler, haven't seen a lane in years.
Apart from the terrible character/gear model graphics, the bowling itself looks pretty good. Could be better but definitely not bad. The real loser in this game is that there are something like 10 tiers of gameplay but randomness seems to make it very difficult to progress past Tier 5 or 6. You can make it easier by playing on Arcade instead of Simulation, but if you've been playing on Sim mode the whole time it just feels like it cheapens the experience substantially. It would definitely be a more refined experience if one could use a VR headset or other gyroscopic controller instead of relying on a thumbstick for accuracy though.
I like the game because it is the most realistic bowling game i played.
