About
Establish the greatest regime in history in this darkly satirical colony sim and FPS roguelite hybrid. Build a prosperous totalitarian state, enforce policies, and lead your troops into first-person battles that grow from desperate skirmishes into large-scale mechanized war.
Dictate wisely. Every choice shapes society, for better or worse.
Mold your citizens through fear, propaganda, surveillance, punishment or rule as a benevolent leader through comfort and prosperity.
While they work for the State, they may grow grateful, afraid, loyal, or quietly rebellious, until dissent becomes revolt.
Venture into the fractured territories of the Tyris System to gather resources, conscript new citizens, trade with wandering merchants, and feed the growth of your colony.
Fight beside your troops in roguelite FPS battles, from hostile ships to large-scale mechanized battlefields of infantry, tanks, and mechs, spreading your doctrine and eliminating threats to humanity.
Weakened foes can be captured and dragged back to your base.
Behind prison doors, resistance can be crushed through fear, indoctrination, execution, or conversion, until an enemy becomes a citizen, a warning to would-be rebels, or another tool of the regime.
Elite enemies, bosses, and Sector Overlords flood the battlefield with bullets, lasers, missiles, drones, artillery, and overlapping projectile patterns.
This is war at scale, but you are not alone. Order your troops to secure victory, or use them as expendable shields to achieve your ends.

Turn a handful of survivors into a vast, tightly run, self-sustaining colony.
Assign citizens to mine, gather, haul, research, and manufacture weapons, armor, food, and supplies. Watch fragile shelters become the machinery of the State.
Collect roguelite cores during each expedition to grow stronger, survive longer, and push deeper into enemy territory.
Weapon Cores reshape how your guns handle. Combination Cores create synergies between different core sets. Others strengthen the troops fighting beside you, or turn them into sacrificial shields for your survival.
Each run becomes a shifting war machine built around you, your squad, and the chaos you unleash together.

Pax Autocratica is a totalitarian colony sim and FPS roguelite hybrid that combines base building, citizen management, and first-person chaotic battlefields filled with infantry, vehicles and bullet hell. It offers a dynamic, accessible, and approachable gameplay experience for all in a sci-fi dystopian world.
It’s a game about power. How it’s built, how it corrupts, and how it consumes.
You will command armies, dictate laws, and witness consequences in every face that salutes you or fears you.

Really fun game so far. I enjoy the the cross between rouglite combat and the in between base building and progress through to tech researching. For me personally the base building gives me a good in between thing to work on before setting out again to farm mats, blueprints or enslave an entire galaxy of mooks to power up my combat elites. gameplay loop basically you balance out a combat loop that works on a rougelite system. you go in with up to 4 ranged weapons of your choice. of which you can farm blueprints to craft higher tiers of as you find them or farm materials needed for crafting and building. you can catch enemies in the field both normal and elites that you can convert to your side and either take with you in combat or leave at your base to work. You also have different armor sets that offer small bonus to things like player damage, health, shields etc that you farm and craft based on your looking for. While bare bones at this moment (its early acess) inbetween the combat you manage a personal base. Its here you do things like tech research to unlock new buildings, craft higher tier ships allowing you bring more soldiers or bigger soldiers into combat. not much to say on the base building as again its pretty simple and easy to figure out but its a nice way to spend a few minutes in between the combat. large scale battles are prob my favorite part of the game. these are battles one a large field with absurd numbers of allies and foes alike fighting in a chaotic gun fight with a couple of set objectives to complete the fight. These are the BIG fights of your run and I hope they build on those more couple of things I have noticed and suggest for changes *The rouglite perks are really underwhelming. Alot of them are there are to add extra damage like firing missiles when the player deals damage or dropping a poison cloud. damage on these effect feels weak and i actually find myself ignoring them for things like clips size or faster rates or instant reloads as my personal damage just out scales to anything that adds damage *life span items? yeah so soldiers have a life span and you get these items as early as the first map of the game. nice items if you have elites you really like but nothing in the game so far explains how to use these items. i assume they are a later game mech but its not well explained and if they are a later game item they should drops from later game areas *character customization doesn't exist and that really sucks considering the plans for a few future updates. not even armor you equip changes anything aside from stats. this should really be an option in any rpg style game *gun balancing is very weird. my smgs at close combat are 10X more effective then a shot gun at point blank range. explosive weapons empty your mag in order to deal semi decent damage which means you spend more time reloading a gun that shooting it. those same weapons have a small aoe effect almost making them useless to use. weapons could use some work as i find myself just using an smg for close fights and bosses and a bow for long range seed drops really need something done to help. i have now spend over 5 hours in the second sector trying to get a single honey fruit seed and yes im on max difficutly to max the drop the drop rates. low key this makes me wanna thumbs down. it should never take 5plus hours to get one of an item even if its supposed to be rare just a few small things but overall i thing the direction the game wants to go in is a fun concept. ill add more to this as things get added or i notice more as i play
Das beste Spiel seit langer Zeit!
A fun mixture of looting and shooting, catching "prisoners" by throwing orbs at them, long-term base development/automation, and resource grinding. Only 6 hours in and am excited to finish.
Almost 20 hours in and there is still more to do. Its almost like bannerlord, quake and medieval dynasty had a weird baby. Ton of fun, you will get your moneys worth immediately

Essentially a single player reboot of Earth From Another Sun. Looks better and is more refined. Seems like they've gained some focus and look to expand on features in a scaled down version. Not a bad thing. Build your base, collect and balance resources, manufacture better gear, and play through a galactic map to gain resources from points/progress through combat. The more stops you make on the map, the higher the difficulty ramps up. Pretty generic and barebones for the time being. It seems obvious this developers are still trying to find the sweet spot and get their feet on the ground. To their credit, early access and a free key was given if you paid for their previous game (the aforementioned Earth From Another Sun). That alone, in my opinion, overshadows the cries of asset flip by showing good will on their part. I wouldn't pay $30 as is- maybe $20, but it is a rebooted continuation of the previous game to make a better product overall. Only a handful of developers actually care enough to go back to the drawing board and not charge for the new product while claiming the previous one was "complete". Bottom line- As is, it isn't quite worth $30 (but maybe it is as "premium" games are now 2-3x this price), but if you have some interest and cash to throw: Multiverse gives back to consumers and stands behind their vision enough not to abandon it outright. I personally commend and support this kind behavior, regardless of how good the game is. It shows dedication and the drive to get better as developers.
This game is not something I expected to be this good. It's a very well built game that not only lets you fight with you're troops. But grow with them as well. I always wanted a game like this. Maybe not rogue like but something similar to this. But I think it is the first of it's kind. Do to the fact you can do multiply things at once. Building, managing, fighting, and ETC, all put into one game. Plus it's not just fighting by yourself. You have an army backing you, kinda like how I said in the beginning of writing this. I am looking forward to this bright future this game has. Glad they have a map plan on what they want to bring to this game.
Lets just be honest here. IT IS EARLY ACESS, there is a lot of content in some places, less in others and quite a few bugs, but it is a unique experience that not many games have and it reminds me of lil abandoned game you my friend never heard of. "Genesis alpha one". The roguelite element is done very well, maps and missions tend to be slightly repetitive ngl, but weapons are unique and upgrades are not "+5%dmg" and more like "WELL DONE SOLDIER YOUR GRANADE LAUNCHER IS NOW A BIG FAT RAILGUN". Many devs don't get how important it is so i applaud that. I want to play more and am excited for what the team can do for the state. FOR THE FATHER!
