Fun but glitchy. Items duplicate but aren't clickable so just take up room in your inventory till you find the original and scrap or sell it. I want to be able to buy more repair machines, I've upgraded my shop all the way and still only have 1 repairer, and I REFUSE to sell anything but awesome quality items. The different auction worlds look identical and some bins cost less then the first world unlocked. My janitor robot got stuck in the delivery bay at the back of the shop and I cannot move it from there, it still does its job just magically now.

Pawn Planet feels calm and easy to sink into. You run a small pawn shop in space, buy strange alien items, repair broken gear, and bargain with quirky customers. The game moves at a slow pace, which makes the experience relaxing instead of stressful. The game works best if you enjoy management simulators with light gameplay loops. There are no intense action systems pushing you every second. You build your shop little by little, travel between planets, and hunt for profitable finds. The alien customers and goofy item designs keep the atmosphere fun and casual.

I usually don't touch pawn shop or auction games, but Pawn Planet managed to hook me. It’s surprisingly fun despite my usual preferences. The Good: The main hub (pawn shop planet) looks great, and the NPC designs are actually pretty solid. I picked this up at 40% off, and honestly, it’s a steal at that price. The Bad: Environment Design: The auction planets are way too barren right now. It's just endless, flat ground. It really needs some terrain variety—adding hills, mountains, or even some lakes/seas with different colors would make a huge difference. Bugs: The inventory and storage locker are currently buggy. I’ve had items randomly disappear, though a quick save/reload fixes it. It’s a bit annoying and definitely needs a patch. Good game, but it needs a little more polish on the terrain and inventory system to be truly great. Recommended if you catch it on sale!

i do like the game and it is fun to play but go into it with these bugs known so you can avoid issues. items purchased from the discount parts seller can dissapear i lost x5 tongues overnight, now i only buy things as needed for repair. items in storage stack accidentally and get lost, art wont generate so its a blank space or they are overlapped and hard to seperate, worst one is the customers standing at your counter and cant be interacted with, if you run out of items to sell they just stare ar you and you cant do anything, juckily i had soome in storage awaiting repair so i put it on shelf and after 10-15s the ai noticed that new item and offered a deal, the next 7 npcs all asked for same item and i just rejected them all to finish day. when you go to an auction, if it says auction is over just reload the game, it saves each morning so you shouldnt have lost anything. crafting is done at the bar next to casino, i would complete it for quest then no longer use it, used 9k worth of materials to add 10k value, but it failed 3 times first so im in the red 27000. anyway, use a common item thats awesome quality, for me plunger and the bottom bottle worked. buying the house added no benefits and was a waste of money, advancing questline seems to be pointless since it doesnt give much. i reccommend giving it a try, art style is nice and all the cool art is worth it

Fun for about 4 hours and then the bugs start to become annoying. Can't place anything on a shelf because the prompt does not show, auctions being over the moment you land your ship on the planet, items disappearing from or being overwritten in your inventory or storage by other items. And it seems that the developers have abandoned the game since release. There are better shop sims out there, try those instead.

This game has SO much potential but the bugs are too much to keep the game playable. The planet selection button is at any given moment completely broken or only has 1-3 planets available even though I have about 5 unlocked. That isn't game-breaking since the auctions are more of a secondary feature anyway so I kept playing, but then the crafting mechanic broke! If I click an item I am not able to change to any other items until I start the next day or occasionally restart the entire game. Eventually at level 20 the repair machine broke and I can no longer repair items to awesome condition, meaning I can't craft items OR sell items for the highest price. I love the game and once this is fixed I'll change the review to positive but it's currently becoming MORE unplayable as I progress.
