No Good, Bad, & Ugly this time, also tried to keep it as short as possible but it was just so hard to voice all my frustrations in a short brief paragraph, so just read the TLDR at this point unless you really want the details.
Update 33 is basically just the lesser Neglected and more popular "Pavlov Shack" Standalone version content just ported over to PC with a fresh coat of Paint that being "updated visuals" the only reason i'm actually even giving this game a 2.5/10 at all is because of the decent looking graphics, which still don't look that amazing by modern standards, but it's good enough.
now onto the main reason I'm giving this game a bad review, starting with issues that's been in the game for years, good example being the shaky headset problem which through my research is tied to Steam's OpenXR Runtime according to a Reddit post from well over 3 years ago by this point, the reason this happens is because "Steam XR is bugged" which is weird this is a problem still existing, because I had this same issue since 2022 when I first bought the game, let that sink in for a moment, and considering SteamVR's OpenXR has had more updates to that in the last 3 years than Pavlov's PCVR has had, which leads me to believe (since this isn't an issue in any other game) that it's an issue with Pavlov itself NOT SteamVR, A mutual of mine also had a similar issue, except there is no fix for it like my issue, and instead of affecting the headset, it affects controller tracking, resulting in violent shaking making it impossible to play at all.
Issues aside Content is lacking as I mentioned above, we get some updated visuals for the maps, broken Steam Workshop Modding. (they copy and pasted the Quest 2 standalone Pavlov Shack Modding System so it's just worse steam workshop but now breaks workshop mods from what I've read) We also now have proper Cosmetics and Monetization so that's cool, aand that's it, no new guns, I guess 1 or 2 new maps, and yeah that's all, the PCVR side of things is really neglected, there is a reason this game had a hard drop in playercount.
TLDR: game is absolutely garbage, aged poorly, and is not worth full price, if you want to buy the game do it when it's on a critically low priced sale, otherwise I wouldn't waste my time here, go play something with better visuals, modding, and controls like Contractors or something (the modding in that game is insane, they have Zombies, a Team Fortress 2 Total Conversion mod which feels exactly 1:1 like TF2 it's insane)
