Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 24.71/day in the week to Aug 31 → 25.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
In Pathogenic, you are the disease. Experience a visceral 2D roguelike twin-stick shooter where you play as a lone parasite fighting a desperate war against the immune system. Your goal is simple: infect and conquer your human host.

To survive, you must adapt. Hunt down enemy cells, rip out their organelles, and graft them onto your own body. Evolve from a simple cell into a complex engine of destruction. Create powerful, game-breaking builds and become the ultimate pathogen.

Loot, graft, and assemble your parasite from dozens of unique organelles. Combine flagella for movement, mitochondria for power, secretors for ranged attacks, and spikes for melee combat. Chain organelle effects and discover powerful synergies to build an unstoppable disease vector.

Battle a diverse roster of enemies, from basic immune cells like macrophages and T cells to rival parasites such as tapeworms or protozoa. Formidable bosses are lurking deep within the host's organs.

Collect plasmid fragments to permanently upgrade your parasite's plasmid tree between runs. Each parasite will have it's own upgrade tree allowing for a range of builds to suit your preferred playstyle.

Navigate the procedurally generated organic landscape of the human body. Travel through distinct biomes like the branching pathways of the lungs, the pulsating chambers of the heart, and the complex neural network of the brain.
Our detailed, colorful world is powered by a soft-body physics simulation, giving every cell, enemy, and projectile a uniquely satisfying organic feel. The combination of hand-crafted design and procedural generation ensures endless variety - each run offers a fresh and challenging gameplay experience.

Great game for it only being less than a month old (excluding time as a demo). Really only wish there was more for multiplayer as I would enjoy playing with 3 or 4 players. But as of now great game and there really is alot to do like collecting all (at the time of this review) 7 different pathogens and getting plasmids to perminently upgrade them. So yes, if anyone were looking into this game, currently (again at the time of this review) its not the best if you have say a group of 4 you want to play with (there is 2 player multiplayer) but it is a fun rogue-like shooter game if you want a challenge.

this game is very good you should bye it
This is mostly like Hades, but without a story. If you like Hades, you will like this. The graphics really soak you into the game and make you feel like your ARE the pathogenic. Also there are many cool and exciting build opportunities.
I am the 0.01%. Really fun top down, hope we get more content for this gem.
This game is CRAZY fun. Very inventive, the controls are super tight... definitely worth checking out if you enjoy this genre
fantastic game i played the demo and later found out that there was a full game, and i love it, highly recomend, and i love the bullet hell experience
I only have a few runs so far but the game is fantastic. The art is stunning to look at and the game feels equally as good to play. Getting a good run feels great and even if you got bad items it’s a fun challenge to get through the floors underpowered. I feel like you should only say something negative about the item pool when there isn’t a lot but there is a decent amount of items and different viruses to unlock and start out as. For $10 it’s a great game that I could easily sink 100 hours into. Give it an update or two and in my opinion it’s in the running for one of the best rougelite/like on the market.
What a fabulous game for casual gamers and biology enthusiasts alike. Yes the game is obviously a bullet hell shooter roguelite, but the level designs are SO clever. The map generation and enemies are extremely reflective of how you would imagine it would look like in that particular organ system; not to mention the music that also matches the theme of everything. My favorite level has to be the heart, the gimmicks that the level incorporates (eg. bullets stopping and going to the beat of the heart/music) is amazing, and really stands worthy of acknowledgement. Not to mention the optimization! Everything runs so incredibly smoothly and there are hasn't been any bugs or latency that I have seen so far. Overall, it is a fantastic, difficult roguelite for it's price point, and I would highly recommend getting this game to anyone who's into the genre OR into biology in general.
