Prices

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 24.71/day in the week to Aug 31 → 25.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
In Pathogenic, you are the disease. Experience a visceral 2D roguelike twin-stick shooter where you play as a lone parasite fighting a desperate war against the immune system. Your goal is simple: infect and conquer your human host.

To survive, you must adapt. Hunt down enemy cells, rip out their organelles, and graft them onto your own body. Evolve from a simple cell into a complex engine of destruction. Create powerful, game-breaking builds and become the ultimate pathogen.

Loot, graft, and assemble your parasite from dozens of unique organelles. Combine flagella for movement, mitochondria for power, secretors for ranged attacks, and spikes for melee combat. Chain organelle effects and discover powerful synergies to build an unstoppable disease vector.

Battle a diverse roster of enemies, from basic immune cells like macrophages and T cells to rival parasites such as tapeworms or protozoa. Formidable bosses are lurking deep within the host's organs.

Collect plasmid fragments to permanently upgrade your parasite's plasmid tree between runs. Each parasite will have it's own upgrade tree allowing for a range of builds to suit your preferred playstyle.

Navigate the procedurally generated organic landscape of the human body. Travel through distinct biomes like the branching pathways of the lungs, the pulsating chambers of the heart, and the complex neural network of the brain.
Our detailed, colorful world is powered by a soft-body physics simulation, giving every cell, enemy, and projectile a uniquely satisfying organic feel. The combination of hand-crafted design and procedural generation ensures endless variety - each run offers a fresh and challenging gameplay experience.

So far, the best Isaac-like of all time. I don't know if it will have the longevity, but it truly gives that Isaac feeling. Great music and graphics. Don't pass this one up.
I explored a dude's colon. 10/10
9/10 for inducing a deadly illness in the game. 11/10 for inducing epilepsy in real life.
Fun gameplay loop and a great love-letter to microbiology. Good art and music too. Can't wait to get good at it.
Binding of Isaac eat your heart out.
I feel like anything I like about this game is a result of it being an action roguelike, and everything I dislike comes from issues with how the developers have put their own spin on the genre, so I don't think I could ever recommend it to people who haven't already played each of (for example) Binding of Isaac, The Void Rains Upon Her Heart, Noita, Nova Drift, Tiny Rogues (if you don't mind the vibe coding in the forthcoming update), and Rabbit & Steel. I believe all of those do bullet hell better than this game, and everything but Binding of Isaac has a better build-crafting system. It felt a lot like Pathogenic just gets bullet hell wrong. Sluggish movement pairs well with deliberate combat (see Rabbit & Steel), but I don't believe it works well with the chaotic combat that the game advertises in its trailer, where most of the clips involves the player taking damage from whatever crap is strewn about the screen haphazardly. I believe I played while maximizing my cell's thrust whenever possible, but I never felt like I could control my character well enough in the face of whatever attack I was being subjected to. It felt like playing Nova Drift (a game notable for its intentionally obtuse controls) without that game's very generous health regen. A lot of it comes down to knowing what the enemy will do before you see it start to attack, which is to say Pathogenic's combat just isn't readable; you're just going to get hit by a bunch of things seeing them for the first (or fifth) time. On the topic of readability, the game is extremely obtuse with all its numbers. There's no shot speed, range, or geometry given for anything and the limited inventory space means you're likely going to make a lot of blind, irreversible decisions about swapping weapons or items. This sucked a lot. It also didn't help that on paper my epic starting weapon had higher dps than almost anything I ever found and a geometry I knew I could hit things with, so had to force myself to experiment with new weapons (because I have to learn somehow) rather than *want* to do so. It's like playing Binding of Isaac without missinghud or a wiki--never an experience I'd recommend. Also, I don't believe any of my damage increasing abilities ever displayed what they were actually doing on any of my attacks. Pathogenic also makes the genuinely interesting decision of having your hitbox be tied to your character's geometry. There's no law of bullet hells that says "thou shalt be a single illuminated pixel", but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ was it maddening to get caught on every piece of stray geometry and catch probably a half-dozen projectiles because I'm a squishy little blob and not a tiny circle surrounded by an intangible blob. I'm still going to play more of the game because people I trust have told me it's very good, and I don't value my time enough, so it's possible that my first impression is just off and the game gets better in the 6th hour.
