Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.

About

An arcade roguelite where positioning beats firepower.
Build absurdly powerful runs through rule-breaking upgrades.
I started Particulitix as a particle-graphics experiment that grew into the arcade roguelite I wanted to play.

Position smart around playfield zones that shape every fight
Stack run-specific arsenals from dozens of upgrade combinations
Carry permanent character upgrades between runs
Your weapon choice defines your gameplay.
Each weapon has its own fire pattern, range, special effect, and aim style. Some require manual aim for classic, high-control twin-stick shooting. Others aim automatically, letting you focus on movement and positioning.
Manual-aim weapons can be toggled to auto-aim if you prefer. Auto-shoot is a separate toggle, mixable with any weapon.
Combine dozens of upgrades into builds that probably shouldn't exist.
Here are just a few examples:
Spicy bounce: Each time a bullet bounces, its damage is doubled. If you have fragments or DoTs they keep this boost.
Laser: 8x damage, but capped at 8 active at a time. Combines with fragments for chain effects.
Mimic: Your ship mimics the appearance of the enemies chasing you. They won't chase you unless you fire. Shooting breaks the disguise for a short time.
The playfield isn't a backdrop. Where you stand changes every fight.
XP doesn't come to you. You have to risk your position to grab it. Timing your pickups around special zones can turn a dangerous move into a massive advantage.
Temporary zones appear across the screen, offering powerful situational bonuses. Exploiting them at the right moment is often the key to victory.
Builds don't just stack numbers. They change how you play the space. Upgrades interact with movement, positioning, and timing.
The best players don't shoot more, they stand better.
Every visual in Particulitix is generated in code. No sprites, no texture atlases. The reason is simple: I can't draw, so the whole game is math and particles, drawn fresh every frame.
Solo dev based in Normandy. The project ran away from me a few times along the way, but I'm shipping it the way I want to play it.

Had this game wishlisted as the premise looks neat, unfortunately the final product has generative ai. having the ai music toggleable does not make it okay, it's like bandaging a fatal wound.
I've played the demo a bunch and now I get to play the full game! The visuals and particle effects are so cool and fun. And the palettes are an awesome feature! It is super satisfying to get an OP build going. I used to prefer the shotgun, but now I'm digging the AK-47. I play this on Steam Deck and it works great!
I just published a review of the game which can be accessed here: https://youtu.be/mO9_9Po46c4 In short, this game feels like a time capsules to an era where Xbox was king and inflation didn't price you out of owning a property. It is the quintessential pick up and play experience, with a roguelite twist. Four stages of varying difficulty, an impressive upgrade tree, a shape with four potential weapons laying waste to other unassuming shapes in a DMT trip infused kaleidoscope of mayhem, all under the trippy beats of an banging soundtrack. At the cost of a cup of coffee, you can't go wrong with this one, grab it and enjoy it as I did, this is a fantastic solo dev effort that deserves all the praise.

Particulitix is an amazing game with a hard to say name. Particulitix's Geometry Wars/ Asteroids gameplay blends perfectly with the roguelike loop we see in so many other games. You have several levels that each have their own Boss, you can make levels much harder with "glitches". Glitches are modifiers that charge how the game plays from speeding up all gameplay elements, to giving you only one life a run to even making the level endless. You have access to Four weapons that each fire in special ways as well as have a special attack. Your run level ups are all unique and can change how you play depending on what abilities you are offered, no plus 3 percent damage here levels that ruin a lot of games and don't add value. You can also purchase levels that affect your every play through with things like reload speed, maximum health and damage to make each run slightly easier. The graphics and music would feel right at home on an arcade machine and by far the coolest part of the game is you can unlock various graphical styles, change your game from a green tinted sprites that fit in a Gameboy to a RGB masterpiece that looks like an epic animation tied to a Rave. Simple Black and White to Vaporwave feel, this is such an amazing way to make the same level feel vastly different. Particulitix is the perfect game to have on your system to grind hardcore when bored, or boot up when you have some time to kill before you leave, and I recommend it highly.
Everything about this game is really juicy. Very few games have music this good! I wish I wouldn't suck so bad at playing the sniper... just gotta stick to filling the screen with the AFK-47 I guess! While moving as fast as possible to increase my dmg, firerate and reload speed. In a 4x dmg zone overlapped with some other zones, next to the XP zone. This game has a lot of nice upgrade combos.
does a lot of stuff I haven't seen in games of this genre, and does them well - love all the extra EXP/Damage zones
Very enjoyable little arcade-style game. The gameplay is incredibly charming and brings back memories of classic arcade games like Asteroids and Galaga. It's definitely worth playing if you're a fan of retro top-down shooters. And the soundtrack is an absolute banger.
A visually impressive and very fun survivors-like game. Particulitix gives you that classic 'one more game' experience with an addicting rogue-like progression system. No doubt you'll get your money's worth out of this one very quickly and you'll find yourself always coming back for another run. Also, the dev is a cool guy who's always open to feedback.
This game is awesome, it really does a great job on putting fresh air in the bullet heaven genre. I had access to the game before release because it was sent from the dev cause i host an Italian videogame podcast (Indieca Podcast) I couldn't stop playing and at the time i was the number one ranked, now i cannot wait to be beaten. The game is made by a solo dev
