Too easy
PaperKlay is a very cute and short 3D platformer game! The movements of the game are pretty cool to play around, overall pretty smooth, although if you try to double jump too fast, you will only get a single one instead, as if it didn't register. Being able to move during the wind up of the ground pound makes for some very cool way to go about the platforming, especially if you combine this with the dodge. The level are cool, espcially liked the second half of the game. There are some moments where nothing really happens though, a little bit unfortunate but it's quite alright. Also some repetitiveness. I also liked the diversity on how each world looked. Concerning the collectathon part, it's alright! there may be many coins in levels but they are usually very visible, if you pay enough attention to them, you rarely finish a level without collecting all of them. The enemies hitboxes are pretty jank, it feels like you hit them from so far away, and when next to you, you somehow completely miss. It's probably the biggest flaw about this game for me. Musics are cool although not all of them vibed with me, but none where bad, fits the vibe of the game overall. Voice acting was pretty cool! Although the way our protagonist talks isn't for me. As for the story, pretty neutral about it, it's kind of the classic whenever it comes to those types of games. Either way, as someone that loves 3D platformers, this was a pretty cool one to play!

I loved this game! You should buy it. Cheers.
Incredibly inconsistent mechanics and camera, scissors has weird interactions with grapple/jump/glide.
This is a sweet little game! I had a pretty good time with this. The undeniably really lovely visuals combined with the fairly satisfying (if a little safe and simple) gameplay combine to make a chill and fun experience. I don't love all of the decisions it makes; I think the linear levels are a *little* too spacious, especially upon replay, I wish you could teleport around the levels after beating them as replaying them just to pick up 2-3 coins you've missed can be quite a chore, and I wish it had gone in on the challenge a little more because this game does control really well! Speaking of control, I wish you had a bit more of a moveset to work with; only having a double jump, glide and a run is a little disappointing for something like this especially in 2026. To be fair this would have been much more of a hindrance if the game was more open; as it stands it's 4 hub worlds which contain 3-4 much more linear 3D stages, the latter of which are built around your more limited moveset. It's nothing groundbreaking but it is a solid and charming platformer with very responsive controls that you can breeze through in a couple of sessions with a smile on your face. Worth a play especially if you're a fan of 3D platformers! 6/10
Great little forgiving platformer if you're looking for some fun.
Very solid little platformer — easy enough and not too long to get boring. 100%-ing it is a bit difficult because sometimes you’ll let a couple of yellow buttons slip and there are some well-hidden parts, and redoing a whole level can be tiresome. Aside from those minor complaints, for the price alone I'd recommend it easily.
What an amazing game!! A little Paper Mario, Mario Galaxy, and Spyro. The artwork is awesome, the music is perfect, and the humor just makes me smile! It’s hard but not Donkey Kong hard and fair. When I mess up, it’s on me.
This is a good platformer. It's a lot bigger than I thought it would be! I was waiting for this game to come out for a very long time, and the wait was pleasantly rewarded. The controls aren't perfect, but they are forgiving enough to adapt to (at least I feel like I've gained some skill). The pacing is pretty even, and the levels don't get hard too quickly. I definitely recommend it!
The game has a cute Idea and a cute art-style but sadly the game suffers in many departments. It is way to easy and levels are way to simple. On top of that the levels are way to big so you have to walk for ages. The game is also riddled with bugs, especially in those sections where you just play as nugget. The world has tons of gaps and clipping issues and sometimes thing just bug out. That you have to collect every single coin in every level is also just very boring. If you just want a very simple 3D Platformer with a cute artstyle, you can get this game when it is on sale. If you want anything more there are definitely better options.
