Decent hex turn-based strategy game. Lots of units, lots of battles and campaigns (although in most of them you play the Germans) to be played with the base version of the game. You need to to buy the expansions in order to have access to other nations' campaigns. Did not encounter any bugs.
I'm fan of board and war games. If you like those genres, I think you'll surely like Panzer Corps 2. I didn't play at launch, so I can't tell a lot about the state of it at the beginning. Looking now, the game has a lot of ways for you to tweak your experience. Less randomness, more points for advantages, undo buttons etc. I liked that you can choose to play however you like. For my experience, I think the middle option of difficulty was the best. I gives you a challenge because the lower income of prestige but without cheating too much for the AI. The tutorial is ok but I think some key points are missing. The entire game revolves a lot around army composition but more importantly support and unit positioning/terrain. As I recall, those concepts were barely touched during tutorial. I heard some people online critiquing the game for not having the grand axis operations campaign on its base game. I disagree with those comments. There's a lot of game here. I think I easily got more than 80 hours only in the base game. I somewhat agree with those comments when looking at the price of the axis operations DLCs. Performance wise, the game run very smoothly and I've never run into bugs or stuttering. Some missclicks may have happened, but the undo function helped with it. I recommend the game and I'm looking forward to play the axis operations campaign.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I really want to play this game but it lag spikes everytime i move my map around or make an action no matter what settings i put it at, Very dissapointing because my computer is well above the recommended specs
Very cool game, covers a lot of battles that are often overlooked.
This is hands down absolute masterpiece! If you enjoy strategy games as well as role playing games, this is the best of both worlds. The game itself is a turn based tactical battle, where you have to consider the terrain, your units strengths and weaknesses and how to combine units for the best result. The gap between a beginner and a veteran player is so vast! But it's fascinating to figure out strategies and the best units to work together. Then, there are the RPG elements. And I have to say, after playing tons and tons of RPG games, this game really surprised me how well it's thought through! You have your usual experience and leveling, however the best part is the "heroes" where you get one after each battle and they provide some bonus benefit to any unit of your choosing. This makes every playthough completely unique and also forces you to adjust your strategy based on what types of bonuses you get. I mean this is revolutionary. Without it, you play through it once or twice and it's the same thing over and over. But this way I have played it at least half a dozen times and every playthrough is completely unique. It's incredible. For me, this is 10/10 game, or top 1%.
Ok, so many years after playing this masterpiece offline i -now- am part of the online community comrades, i cant recommend this awesome game enough, i adore it, its the best ultimate turn based hex tactical WW2 pc game out there, it continues the legacy of the fantastic Panzer General 2 in which i spent my best youth years playing it for hours, of course Panzer Corps 1 was marvellous too but this beast is the kid of those games, i leave you now because i have to command my troops... I salute you! kastrologos over and out!
The ability to "relive" or "recreate" history is awesome for a history, especially WWII, buff. Characters are very fun to customize and evolve through the battles. Many different branches and scenarios to discover. Always coming out with something new. Great game. Lots of fun.
If you're into turn-based strategy or WWII strategy games in general, do yourself a favor and pick this up. At the time of writing I have 49 hours in and I'm still working on the main campaign(s)! The MC and all the DLCs (pricey, even on sale) will keep you busy for hours.
Bought on promo and expected this to be a mora tactical and realistic game, but in the end I really liked the middle of the road, fast, fun but still detailed and semi-historical take on tactical combat. The base game is a great deal. There are a lot of DLC tough, and I still didn't touch it, but will probably grab one or some before the promo is gone. At full price I'd probably just get the base game, but it sure is a nice surprise.
Overall a very accessible and enjoyable operational level wargame. This is much simpler than the Strategic Command series, which have a steeper learning curve.
