PANTHEON: RISE OF THE FALLEN IS A DEEPLY SOCIAL HIGH FANTASY MMO
GAME THAT CHALLENGES ITS PLAYERS AND REWARDS EFFORT.
It has been 500 years since the Deicide War severed the connection between the people and their gods. The Ravaging Lord pushed nations across Terminus to near extinction before the Dragon King himself appeared and brought an end to the bloodshed.
Now, the denizens of Terminus must uncover the mysteries of their past and unlock the silenced power of their gods. For war will come again. And this time the dragons won’t be there to save you.

Old school. I like that.
reminds me of 2002 everquest
staff is rude and condescending when you have legitimate complaints.
It's an alright game, but it's really important to have a competent group. Soloing is extremely boring past lvl 8 and being in a horrible group is beyond horrible lol
Me no want read: Game good, try out! No like? You try refund! lolo6767lololol Me can read: I don't have too many hours in because I'm waiting for the wipe soon to get a "fresh" start. From what I've played though, I genuinely enjoy it. As many have already remarked before me, it's like a portal to the past and I'm for it. Only tried one class, Paladin, so it's my only perspective mind you. I'm also very, very baked. Buckle up ♥♥♥♥♥♥. Combat - seems pretty smooth and overall fluid to me and can't recall any major issues. I liked the skill/spell visual effects and they seem to get progressively more badass over levels/time/(I've heard from quests too already or planned? Don't quote me!). From a small ZAP to enchanting my 2H with holy light and casting large consecrated grounds that further amplify my hoooly pooowa. I can only image the fun a spellcaster will have lol. Leveling/leveling crafting skills - all seem pretty well so far, nothing too insane or too easy. Again, not too much time spent here to have a great input from experience. Haven't seen any ridiculous plateau effects so there's that! Crafting/gathering - Pretty basic so far from what I've only seen. This + this(and maybe this) = this. Boom, crafting. I haven't had a great deal of time making higher tier equipment or anything so I don't have much to say here as well. Gathering ores or vegetation was overall a pretty well done experience. Ore near mountainous/rocky terrain and in caves, vegetation/flowers/etc in grassy areas, near water/rivers, etc. The logging seemed kinda doo doo to me though, I've spent the least time here but it also feels that way because of how rare I seemed to find a tree I could actually cut. I remember actually cutting my first one (Walnut tree :D ) because of how rare it felt, not even the one I needed for a quest lol just to do it. I was going solo and not focusing on it exclusively so take that with a grain of salt. The environment... okay I will just call it how I see it... kinda doo doo. It's not horrible, no! Perhaps the lay of the land will get some touching up later on, I can understand that, no biggie. Priorities! The layout of the first town (name's eluding me) and even some of the buildings though (like the bank, the hell is that? It feels so out of place now that I think about it, Joppa c'mon man! xD ) look a little oddly placed or spaced out? To me it doesn't "feel" organic, more so just to be there to serve their purpose. Add some more trees, bushes, foliage, etc. Which, again, I can understand for the time being. We shall see! Room for improvement here though! Quests - As for the quests, which seems to have a division lol, I have enjoyed for the most part. Every detail you need is able to be found or should be, rewards are fine, and overall they feel okay! Only completed a few myself though. One common complaint I see is due to the loss of "hand holding" that we've become used to as the years have gone by (or normal if you started off with them from the beginning) with QoL improvement, relying on quest markers, flashy icons, quest trackers, and so on. In itself it's not a terrible thing, I love my damn quest markers myself! Me turn brain off and go smack thing, talk to dude, bing! I get it. Sometimes while playing in Pantheon as well, I found myself kind of wanting various trackers (there is a quest log, you're good as far as that goes!) and icons. It's not those games though, this is Pantheon and maybe I can try going at this differently, how it was "meant" to be played perhaps. It reminded me of stepping into Elder Scrolls: Morrowind for the first time. Clueless as ♥♥♥♥, wandering on a road and boom; you hear a dude screaming only to look up and see someone falling from the sky until *plop*. What's this dude's deal? Who is he? Why did he fall from the sky? Why is the Argonian maid so lusty? Well, read the journal he has on him and learn about his fascination with developing a spell that'll allow him to travel long distances without paying people for the fare. Hell, even try some of the scroll spells for yourself after looting him! :D I see a similar idea behind the quests in Pantheon where curiosity and interaction, with the world and/or other players, is likely to be rewarded. Unsure where this place you have to meet an NPC is located? Well... ask around! You got a way to communicate, right? This is coming from someone who solo's and doesn't talk to people myself. Not everyone is amazing, but not everyone's a ♥♥♥♥ either! Communication does leaps and bounds here. Don't believe me? Try it yourself! Closed mouths don't get fed! You might not find out what you need right now, today, or tomorrow (looking at you metal pauldron basis), but you will! Don't rush thing's, they will happen, relax. I'd love to be doing the helping myself but, uh, I'm the noob here :D (now if this were D2 or something *cough*) Enjoy the world you're exploring and immersive yourself! Many here are learning much like yourself (maybe? eh? eh? :D) and I think that's a big part of the fun; the mystery, the curiosity. Not hopping on a wiki or something (not against it but try asking that person over there first! Worst case scenario is a "nope", move on!) and just checking the boxes off. It's not about getting to the destination but rather the time spent on the journey getting there with others, those are the memories we keep. People are saying this game will fail, be run into the ground, etc., any and every title has the potential to fail or succeed. "The man who says he can, and the man who says he can't, are both correct". I clearly hope this game becomes a great success like a No Man's Sky but I'm also aware thing's can go the... Ashes of Creation way. Yeah I was one of the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ who got it on steam and genuinely liked crafting ♥♥♥♥, fantastic kick in the nuts :D. Time will tell with this MMO as well. Hope you enjoyed my stoner novel as much as I enjoyed writing it! Feel free to leave any thoughts or call me some ♥♥♥♥ lol, you do you homie! Otay, deuces!
