Now, the denizens of Terminus must uncover the mysteries of their past and unlock the silenced power of their gods. For war will come again. And this time the dragons won’t be there to save you.

Huge problems with Pantheon Rise of the Fallen: 1. Devs think that difficulty is "fun" 2. Devs don't understand that you have to make a game fun to make gamers want to play it. This also makes it possible to have a subscription or boxprice and that in turn makes it possible to hire more devs which leads to faster and better development 3. Devs are not focusing on content, instead they are doing balance passes on a game that has been in very early access for 11 years.... If they did things differently they would have money, manpower and many more players. Guess they don't want that.
messing everything up each patch is hard to deal with.,

I write this with a heavy heart. In quick, they have something here but it will never be complete (Do NOT buy this game ((YET!))). Let me explain: The game is fun, yet still very buggy and that can make you frustrated at times. What did it in for me though was when I tried to report a bug to VR. They should have responded with we will look into this and try to fix it. They instead gave me a response that showed me they are incompetent and worse, they don't care! They also suggested that it was somehow my mistake, or that I didn't know the mechanics of the game. Well with all the other reviews I wont go on ranting about all the other stuff that's wrong with this game and dev team. I just want to point out that if they keep going at a snails pace they wont ever finish this game. Lets also look not to far back with the user base. It has been steadily dropping even with the release of new content. If you are releasing new content and the player base doesn't tick up for it, geez that's bad. It happened again with BRK, new content can't even bring players back. I really hope they find some miracle, they need it so bad! So, Don't buy this game unless it actually releases, like maybe in 10 years from now. I only continue to play this to help my friends and others, but I've lost interest myself.
Well, as a backer from years ago I followed, played in the alpha's and into its current state. The game itself is decent, many good features even though it was a massive let down on the horrible graphics decision I understand the reason and it is getting a bit better over time. However one thing that just keeps me from being able to recommend this game is simply the players, the community is hateful, toxic and very abusive. Trying many server over the last couple years, I have met a few great people compared to hundreds of very elitist jerks, hateful, abusive trolls, griefers, and just a very low quality community as a whole. If you have several friends already established, then it isn't bad but if you want to find a decent group to play with as a casual player wanting the old EQ, UO, SWG friendly and helpful communities from years ago then look elsewhere. Very sadly, the worst of those players have infested Pantheon and it seems that is the exact elitist groups the games devs are seeking and promoting. Its not a thriving community, its a drama filled pvp game with no pvp.
It's simply not a fun game. I am rooting for them, hope they get it figured out.
Game is a mess, save your time.
I've been really enjoying this game! I'm excited for the next content release. This game feels much more like the classics. It's challenging, slower paced, and much more exploratory. It contrast the current state of MMO's which are node or area based kill X, harvest X, and repeat. Because there is no map I found myself learning the zones and enjoying the process. I'm choosing to play this game over others.
Like a lot about this game and the unique challenges that you encounter which makes the game both fun, challenging and costly if not paying attention to detail and or are error prone.
This game tries so hard to make gameplay complicated. No map, no markers, very poor visuals, year-long skill casts, centuty-long hp/mana recovery, bad interface - you can't resize text windows... Too uncomfortable.
Its a game that needs work but is NOT a lost cause. All the downvotes are comments based off a finished product, ridiculous. Please just do not drop the ball on this Visionary Realms, you have a good idea, just polish the turds out and get it functional.
