PANIC STATION, developed and published by Forest Games, is a multiplayer-focused sci-fi horror experience that blends close-quarters combat, environmental puzzles, and player-driven tension into a single chaotic survival scenario. Set aboard a dark, compromised space station, the game throws players into a hostile environment where infection has spread, systems are failing, and trust is never guaranteed. Rather than leaning purely into scripted horror, it builds much of its tension through unpredictability—both from the environment and from other players who may be allies one moment and threats the next. The gameplay centers on competitive survival, with a strong emphasis on melee combat. Unlike many multiplayer titles that rely on ranged weapons, PANIC STATION pushes players into direct, physical confrontations. Timing, positioning, and quick reactions become essential, as fights unfold in tight corridors and confined rooms where there is little room for error. This design creates a sense of immediacy, making every encounter feel personal and intense. However, the combat system itself is relatively simple, and while it works well in short bursts, it can begin to feel repetitive once players become familiar with its mechanics. Alongside combat, the game incorporates puzzle elements that require players to interact with the environment in order to progress. These segments introduce moments of tension that differ from direct confrontation, as players must focus on solving tasks while remaining vulnerable to attack. In theory, this combination of action and problem-solving adds variety, but in practice, the transitions between these elements can feel uneven. At times, the pacing shifts abruptly, making it difficult for the game to maintain a consistent rhythm between its different systems. One of the more compelling aspects of PANIC STATION is its atmosphere. The space station setting is dark and oppressive, with narrow hallways and dim lighting that create a constant sense of unease. The design encourages players to stay alert, as danger can emerge from any direction. This is amplified by the multiplayer aspect, where uncertainty about other players’ intentions adds a psychological layer to the experience. The idea that threats are not limited to AI or environmental hazards but can come from fellow players gives the game moments of genuine tension. However, the experience is heavily dependent on its multiplayer environment, and this is where some of its limitations become more apparent. The quality of each session can vary significantly depending on player activity and engagement. A smaller or inconsistent player base can make it difficult to fully experience the game as intended, reducing the effectiveness of its core design. Without a strong and active community, many of its systems lose impact, and matches may feel less dynamic or engaging. From a presentation standpoint, the game delivers a functional but modest visual and technical experience. The environments effectively convey the intended mood, but they lack the detail and polish found in more refined titles. Animations and interface elements are straightforward, serving their purpose without standing out. While the game is generally stable, the overall presentation reinforces its indie scale, with some rough edges that prevent it from feeling fully polished. Despite its shortcomings, PANIC STATION has moments where its ideas come together effectively. When the balance between combat, exploration, and player interaction aligns, it can create tense and memorable encounters that capture the unpredictability it aims for. These moments highlight the potential of its design, even if they are not consistently sustained throughout the experience. Ultimately, PANIC STATION is an ambitious but uneven multiplayer horror game that combines several interesting concepts without fully integrating them into a cohesive whole. It offers flashes of intensity and originality, particularly in its player-driven tension and close-quarters combat, but it is held back by repetition, pacing issues, and reliance on an active community. For those willing to engage with its niche design and overlook its rough edges, it can provide occasional moments of excitement, but it remains a game that falls short of fully realizing its potential. Well...good thing is that I didn't pay much because this is most useless & crappiest piece of game I have ever seen. EDIT: I gave this game a second change after the update. Well, now game works....kind of but this time no enemies anywhere, only one mission and holy ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ the LAG!!! I think at this point who ever made this game, made this just to screw people up...
the frame count of 3fps is still higher than the number of times this developer has felt proud of something they have created. Absolute, steaming pile of faeces

Imagine the best of GTA, Skyrim, Dead Space and Dark Souls. Have you imagined? So you won't see all of this here. You won't actually see anything here. Its more like Empty Station and maybe you will panic cuz you buy this.
