This game seems promising but the conversation feels a little limiting, it kept getting answers wrong because I will try and speak in broken-but-complete sentences. Someone asks if my character wants help, I need help with getting into my uncle's house, I say 'yes, help uncle's house' - That is incorrect, I am only allowed to say 'yes' and the character I was talking to got mad that I didn't say please Very frustrating if you already speak a little French

Very promising demo! I took a few years of French in high school so I was able to understand all the vocabulary so far, but it was still very fun and having the intensity of miscommunication as the battle mechanic was very well executed. Looking forward to playing the full game once it's ready!

where is the rest of the game? was excited to play just to find out its only a demo, despite being dropped last year

This seems like it's going to be pretty fun when it's fully released. I wish the characters were a little more customizable, but that's not really a big deal. Having a way to try getting the meanings for unknown words already in the word bank would be nice (unless I just couldn't find it) since there was one that I apparently forgot to grab but knew the meaning of so I wasn't able to get it until the next time it came up in conversation. The dialogue replaying when you cycle back through would be helpful for learning pronunciation, since you can already go back to work on word recognition and context. There were a few times I tried to add more than what the game wanted, which counted as a fail, leading to patience being lost by the person I was talking to even though what I said was still in line with the conversation, just not the 1-2 word answer it was looking for. Overall, a very cute and interesting way to work on a language though!
