About

Welcome to Paleo Pines, a charming island known for its friendly dinosaurs, quirky townsfolk, and mysterious past. Here evolution took a different path, creating a world in which humans and dinosaurs live together in harmony!
Set out with your dino companion, Lucky, to uncover the island’s secrets and discover new dinos. Your arrival on the island is met with welcome curiosity by the local townsfolk who can help you on your quest (and just might give you more work to do!). Together with Lucky, build a thriving ranch, assist local villagers, befriend adorable dinosaurs, and unearth the island’s lost history to build your cozy dino sanctuary.

Set off on a lively adventure with your dino pal, Lucky, who you’ve known since she was just an egg. Is she the last of her kind? The other parasaurolophus are missing, and it's up to you and Lucky to uncover their whereabouts. Explore Paleo Pines, a charming island filled with friendly townsfolk and hidden corners. Build a new home, make friends, and unravel the island's lost history. Get ready for a journey filled with delightful discoveries alongside your trusty steed Lucky!

Set up your home base on the island as you go about your parasaurolophus quest. Paleo Pines is a place where you can express your individuality and creativity; no two ranches are the same! Build square pens, or not (although the locals might have something to say about that!). Use decor to build a romantic garden, give your ranch a witchy vibe, or go full-on-farmer with rows and rows of tilled soil. Furthermore, customize your character as you like with a variety of features, curate a colorful collection of clothing—with different items to be found in each area—and change your style using the wardrobe!

The island of Paleo Pines is a dino lover’s dream! A collection of cheeky dinosaurs roam the wild areas waiting to become your friends, as well as ranch helpers. Coax them near by mimicking their calls with your flute, then seal the deal with a tasty treat and trustworthy nose boop! Gain their trust by creating cozy pens and learning what keeps them happy. Dinos move around and some are harder to find than others, or may appear only under special conditions, so new discoveries await you as you explore the island. As your ranch grows, you’ll soon have a dino haven for all your new friends. Check out the Dino Journal to learn all about the creatures that roam the island.

Farm to your heart’s content, growing crops all year round with (and for) your dino besties! Start out planting and watering by hand, but earn your new friends’ trust and they’ll help you deliver a roarsome harvest that you can trade with the townsfolk. As your ranch grows, you’ll learn that each dino has a special farming skill to help you with your tasks. With a bit of love, care, and attention to detail, such as matching soil and season, you can grow the highest quality produce in all of Paleo Pines. Soon you and your dino ranch hands will be the talk of the market!

There's plenty to explore out in the wilds of Paleo Pines, from the flowery fields of Veridian Valley to the high canyons of Ariacotta. Make the most of each day by venturing throughout the lush landscapes across the island, each with their own charm, collectable items, and dinos to discover. Take a leisurely stroll through green meadows, foraging for wild crops as you go, or hop on your trusty dino mount on a hunt for hidden corners. Pause to watch wild dinosaurs playfully interact with each other, right before your very eyes. You'll never run out of things to find or dinosaurs to befriend!

A quirky (but friendly!) array of townsfolk on the island can’t wait to meet you and help you on your quest. Granny might have a stubborn side, but get to know her and she’s an ol’ softie. Building friendships within the community is just as important as building friendships with your dinosaurs. As you ride dinos, farm, and explore, you will come across new characters, each with their own story, items or knowledge to share, and gossip to exchange. Help them out day or night by completing quests, opening up new areas, and visiting the stores and community hubs. And who knows—they may even gift you something to spruce up your ranch!

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Paleo Pines🦕 Explore Veridian Valley, grow your farm, and fill your ranch with dinosaurs! Collect new discoveries, landmarks, and artifacts with your Journal. Use your flute to mimic dinosaur calls, earn their trust, and eventually use their abilities to unlock new areas of the map. Some species smash rocks, some clear logs, and others remove bushes. I love that you can adjust the speed of time during gameplay! It lets you slow down, just to enjoy the sunset a little longer. (˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶) ✨ The slower pace may not be for everyone, but I'm glad I pushed through the beginning... It's sad that 84% players never reach the Desert region! Once you get there, the world really opens up, and you discover the full adventure that was waiting for you all along. 🌵✨ TIPS: 🌲 There are 3 months in a year, and each month has 1 festival event & 2-3 npc 'birthdays' 🌲 The Journal has space for you to write custom notes about your dinosaurs. 🌲 If your inventory is full, drag items into your dino's saddle bags! The saddle bag items are automatically moved to your Ranch Inventory at the end of the day. 🌲 Don't sell the Forest wood found in
Dapplewood. It's needed for the quest to unlock

the Desert region.
. Save Fiber. You'll need it for the same quest. 🌲 The dinosaur befriending treats are sold by Pippin! Pippin sells "Poppins" ($100-$300ea). You can even feed these to your tired dinos at the ranch, to refill their stamina bar and keep them working at clearing your base, lol
This is obviously a game aimed at younger audiences, but I am playing it because I will play literally anything that has a dinosaur in it and because I wanted to see what it was about before I purchased this for my actual children on Switch. This is very much in the vein of Pokémon games of yore, where your focus is on collecting dinos, gaining certain abilities to progress, with the addition of building out your farm a la Stardew Valley. Even in this earlier phase, I have played for some time and still feel like I have much to do and start the game up with excitement for the tasks that I'm genuinely eager to complete. I will be following development closely and playing along with further updates, which I'm hopeful will continue to roll in. My singular complaint is the lighting/shading, which simply does not flatter characters with darker skintones and causes a jolting effect in an otherwise vibrant and gorgeous game. I truly hope this is taken into consideration in a future update. I also appreciate the communication they offer on their official Discord!
play t if you REALLY llike cute dino's i am not having a great time with some of the bugs i encountered and some of the mechanics personally but the dino collecting s keeping me going and they are very very cute the walking and traveling tho eh EH meh and the first event has been .. an experience and the BUY DLC banner is glaring at me from the start screen everytime a bug softlocks me and forces me to reload s seriously starting to ick me out
Pictures look good, but once you turn the game on and start playing, the world suddenly seems so....empty. Controls seem like they were designed for a Nintendo. The quests given to you at the start are so random, and after 40 minutes I wasnt sure on how to progress the game, or how to start improving the farm. The emptiness, however, is the worst, it really makes the game feel like an early access.
I love the general look of this game its soothing after a long day and its genunlly relaxing
too boring and easy to be in a spot where progression is no longer findable
