i love it! Its A nice sci-fi blend of mix of driving/mechanic sim, extraction with a touch of horror. 50 hours and going.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

About 12 hours or so deep into my first run of the game and honestly I'm hooked. The uniqueness of the game is brilliant, I love having the simple mechanic behaviours and it makes you and your car feel way more connected than in any other game I've played. I do think some mechanics are a bit "ahh I've got to keep getting that" and it can feel a bit samey at times but overall the story is very well paced and feel like I'm always itching for more gear, better upgrades and to explore new environments. The games story really compliments this by slowly showing you more and more about the world you're in. The story seems to stay purposefully slightly vague to keep you questioning what actually is going on in the world which kept me wanting to continue the story. The maintenance mechanics are fun for me as well, you have to remember to bring all the different kinds of repair kits with you, but its not punishing if you gather lots of resources on your travels because the items needed to craft rudimentary repair kits is usually really forgiving. Fuel isn't really an issue when you get into the early mid game when you can unlock fuel tank upgrades. The battery is a bit finicky, you either feel like you never run out or you are on the brink of death, which makes it fun. Things that annoy me in a weird way is the upgrades and the items needed, I always seem to be running out of plasma (needed for some higher tier gathering tools) and It feels like I rarely see plasma generators unless I'm on a story mission. It also seems that even after you spend upwards of an hour grinding for materials on a run, you get back and then end up spending them all on one headlight. Now you can argue that's just part of the game but it can be annoying when you spend so much time and effort just to get a headlight out of it, but it does help progression so you don't become completely overpowered quickly, The game is great, got it 60% off on a sale and I don't regret it at all. I've been scared, excited, weary, happy and all sorts playing this. If you like funky world building and driving simulators this is a great game to get. I would wait for a sale though. Id give it a solid 8.5/10
Putting a radio in the game was the best possible decision to make
Not very challenging but a fun and immersive drive through an anomalous zone to try and find a way out. The basic loop is driving to a zone, scavenging resources from it to load into your car, getting anchor energy to call the gateway back to the garage, and then racing the storm back to the gateway to go home and fix/upgrade your car with your new resources. Each zone has anomalous entities that range from beneficial, to harmless, to outright malicious, with more of the latter appearing as you go further into the game. That said, it's fairly hard to actually die unless you're just not paying any attention to what's around you, at least on normal difficulty. There's a plotline where some other people in the area try to guide you to a way out which is interesting enough. I liked all the characters within the game though I do feel it's a little ridiculous that they've somehow survived this long in a place plagued with catastrophic storms and radiation pockets. As for the immersive part, you never exit first person view and your car radio's sound source is the car itself. If you shut the car doors, the sound becomes muffled, and it gets quieter the further away you move. It's not a big thing but it's a nice touch. You can toggle various features in the car with either hotkeys or just looking at them and clicking on them (windshield wipers, headlights, the gear shift which only has park and drive). It's also possible to add your own songs (or whatever else you want to play) to the radio in-game as well, so you're not stuck with just the soundtrack. Each zone can have their own modifiers affecting the area (like plunging the area into pitch black darkness, or a specific entity will spawn more often, and so on), and over time your car will gain quirks of its own which can be either helpful or irritating. The annoying ones you can diagnose and remove (like 'when shutting the car door, the car shifts into drive', for example). I recommend this game if you're interested in an atmospheric, only slightly spooky driving journey through the pacific northwest. If you want something challenging, you'll need to tweak the difficulty settings up a lot. If you want to focus solely on driving, it might be best to stay away from this. A significant amount of the game is getting out of the car to scrap and loot resources, so you shouldn't expect to spend all your time Pacific Driving around.
The game was really good. The horror was done super well, constantly unnerved even when I knew nothing was around to be afraid of. Story drew me in well and I was attached to the characters. Gameplay loop did get a bit tedious, but it took a while for this to happen and I did still enjoy myself. My own major issue are the anomalies you face throughout missions. They felt like game mechanics rather than immersive entities. It was just "here's this guy who does this thing!" instead of feeling like a natural part of the environment. I still liked them, but it was by far my biggest issue with the game. I do recommend though, super swag
i couldn't get past just after the first garage where you fix some of the parts on the revenant car, would be nice if escape key exited a menu? kept thinking it was directing me to "tab" but its an icon and not text telling me, not sure what keys to press because they are icons and don't spell it out, pressed every damn key to try to continue, got frustrated with it all because no keys seemed to continue.....when no keys continue, i'm expecting the escape key to do something....so..., closed the game, wrote review. this game is bad sofar, i might pick it up again but its in the bin for now.
