Outriders’ brutal and bloody combat combines frenetic gunplay, violent powers and deep RPG systems to create a true genre hybrid.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1/day in the week to Aug 4 → 1.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
Ta gra przypomina mi HORIZION. OUTRIDERS to dynamiczny shooter RPG, który stawia na czystą, satysfakcjonującą akcję bez zbędnych kompromisów. Gra wyróżnia się brutalnym tempem walki, efektownymi umiejętnościami klas i świetnie zaprojektowanym systemem lootu, który realnie zmienia styl rozgrywki. Mroczny klimat planety Enoch, połączony z intensywną kooperacją, sprawia, że każda misja daje poczucie mocy i progresu.
Ich hab knapp 60 stunden gebraucht für die komplette Questreihe Solo Hauptspiel + Worldslayer. .... 15€ im Sale passt auf jeden Fall. das gameplay passt, die grafik und die story auch.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 18: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Hidden gem that didn't get the recognition it deserved because of the unfinished, rocky launch. Unfortunately the whole game is online only, even though you can play everything solo. Which means that sooner or later the servers will be shut down, making the game unplayable.
Graphics And Technical Stuff
The game looks alright and runs fine. It has some annoying bugs but I didn't encounter anything game breaking. Server performance is mostly good and I only had one or two disconnects during my playtime. Personally I'm not a fan of most armor and weapon designs. Especially early on, a lot of the gear looks pretty bad. Of course the early gear is meant to look "♥♥♥♥♥♥" but there is a difference between ♥♥♥♥♥♥ looking gear and ♥♥♥♥♥♥ gear that looks good. Later on there are some cool pieces of equipment, though. The environments look pretty good and there are some cool set pieces, especially in the expansion content.
Multiplayer
I only played with randoms through matchmaking. The player base is pretty small but the game prioritises finding other players over good ping, which means that you still find lobbies pretty quickly but you will probably lag a lot.
Story
The story is alright, nothing amazing or innovative but there is some interesting stuff in the lore. The production quality is pretty good and even every side quest has pretty decent voice acting. There are many cutscenes and the optional flavour/lore dialogue options have some nice animations and feel very organic, because the characters move around and the camera angles change often. Unfortunately the characters are pretty boring and stereotypical for the most part and there is no good antagonist.
Content
The content is pretty repetitive overall. The base game only offers the replayable campaign with its story missions and side quests, and the expeditions, which are rather short missions that are meant to be replayed over and over again on increasing difficulty levels with better loot. With the expansion come many more tiers for the difficulty system, a new leveling system, new main story missions (no side quests), a few new expeditions and the "trial" endgame mode. The latter looks like a roguelike game mode at first but is really just the same big linear level, with the same exact boss fights, enemy rooms and a few optional side areas which are also the exact same in each run. The progression starts to slow down a lot in the endgame and eventually progressing your character takes forever. In my opinion they should have doubled the amount of endgame resources you get by completing expeditions and trial runs. Completing a run and not being able to upgrade even a single piece for your eight gear slots just feels bad. The achievements are pretty straightforward but there are some grindy ones towards the end. There are no missables but coop is required for one and recommended for some of them.
Gameplay
The gameplay is where this game really shines. Although I played my fair share of cover shooters, I never played one which actually felt good. Most of them have terrible controls for keyboard and mouse, their movement feels sluggish, weapon handling is often bad and the gameplay boils down to waiting behind cover for the majority of the time and only peeking for a few shots now and then. But this game is different. Movement is very smooth and responsive. Gunplay is beefy and satisfying. The controls with keyboard and mouse feel good. And while the gameplay might feel similar to most other cover shooters at first, it gets way more aggressive pretty fast. In the end I was completely in the open and pushing enemies almost all the time and only had to hide behind cover occasionally. This is mainly the case because your hitpoints in this game fluctuate very quickly. Your character’s hp bar is pretty small and you can go from 100% hp to 20% hp very fast within a second but you can regain those hitpoints just as fast by killing and leeching from enemies. So instead of getting hit and having to wait an eternity until you "are allowed to play again" like in other cover shooters, you instead rush from enemy to enemy like a maniac and mow down dozens of them at the same time by combining your skills and perks to keep your hp bar up. This playstyle is very fun, engaging and keeps you in a sort of flow state. The game offers a lot of possibilities for fun and op builds and actively encourages you to explore new synergies by making the changing of your build very cheap and easy. Once you find an item with a cool new perk you can unlock it for this character and craft it on any item you want for a very low cost. Furthermore respecing skill points is completely free and can be done anytime you want. Towards the endgame you start to feel more and more powerful and in the end you are an invincible killing machine.
tl;dr
- pretty repetitive - very aggressive and highly engaging, satisfying combat - fun progression with powerful builds - good for achievement hunting but coop is required for one achievement
Loved playing this game, it gave me the nostalgia of playing Destiny/Borderlands/Remnant.
11/10 PEAK
10/10 peak game. Absolute cinema!
The game is fun and very very polished but it has one unforgivable MAJOR flaw: Always online requirement even for Singleplayer. So this is a light recommendation, who knows when they will pull the Ubisoft move and ♥♥♥♥ everyone over by closing the servers.
I really like it. The guns and gore is VERY satisfying! There are a few bugs here and there, but nothing game-breaking. It's often on sale for the price of a sandwich.
I wish I could review this as mixed because it has some pros and cons, but ultimately I think I'll go with yes, just make sure you get this game on sale. Pros: - I really liked the intro, the world building was interesting and overall how the story unfolded. Cons: - Gameplay was a bit basic, I heard people say if you like Destiny 2 you'd like this. While I can kind of see why, it did not scratch that Destiny 2 itch for me, so I just rushed through to finish the story. -
There's a character that eventually joins your crew, she is the most annoyingly written character I have ever come across and she should have died. The most insufferable character, goes power mad trying to kill you, loses her powers, paralyses herself, SHE GETS SPARED FOR SOME RIDICULOUS REASON, and even after she's spared she's still has the most insufferable personality, she's given a wheelchair, and then she's showing up as a center crew character in the most impractical locations? wheelchairing around the desert? wheelchairing through a ship wreck? "fighting" alongside your crew, nah she should have died
- Sometimes dialogue is a bit... cringe Despite my cons being a little longer than the pros, I'd still recommend this at a sale
NO BS REVIEW: OUTRIDERS (2021) by People Can Fly DNA THE PERFORMANCE: This is a fine game well-made, fast, efficient, and highly playable. I am impressed by the fast load times and server stability, especially considering the design solutions implemented back in 2021. On my rig, the performance is "flawless-ish" : Full 4K at 60–90 FPS (UHD VSR) on Ultra settings with Frame Gen OFF and in-game resolution scaling set to 122%-Stable. I experienced zero crashes and no optimization issues. And I pushed this game "hard run and ram it through the GAME framework hard full speed "like all the way with game fully open .Results = no stutter ,not a blip ,no stutter ,no frame drops ,no traversal stutter ,no issues -nothing My RX9060XT 16GB XFX SWIFT series + Ryzen 5700X on an AM4 B550M PRO mobo fueled with high-speed M.2 SSD PRO, and 4000MHz Patriot Viper Elite II RAM crushed it more than easily, just like it should by design and designated ,completely aside to all the other modern AAA title tested aside for any engine and coding comparison . Again. No surprises here for another backlog game on my list noted. THE GAMEPLAY: It is a very decent game. I had a lot of fun with it allowing me to relax somewhat "galloping" "tug-of-war" neo cynical scepticism in the total absorption" of the "creative sandbox race weighted spectral entity oscillating at places. So..Nice game. THE FEEL: The mechanics clearly draw from Gears of War-ISH, with some Bulletstorm-ISH influence in the audio and a few drops of Unreal Tournament-ISH in the UI and few other oldschool devs builds and methods. It’s all nicely combined and infused into a cohesive new up to date -neo-age dev package. THE TRUTH: This is a solid game, not a broken mess. It’s a functional, fun shooter that looks great and runs smoothly. Don't worry about the opinions of random "Colonial James" individual type who only leave a "Not Recommended" review after 125 hours of playtime. They are usually just bitter because they paid $60 at launch and the game is cheaper now, or they are looking for free DLC in their 400 years of self entitlement .lol It is hypocritical to complain that the developers "don't care" just because the last update was in 2024. If a game from 2021 was already ahead of its time, it doesn't need constant babysitting so it doesn't match the reality too..lol VERDICT: Outriders is a decent game. It works perfectly on my end, has a distinct style, is adequately priced, and delivers on its promises. While I’d like to see more of this design, expecting a sequel is naive given the industry's current state...yet .. Reports confirm that Project Gemini was actually Outriders 2. The game was reportedly near completion—progressing through motion capture—before development was halted in June 2025. Square Enix failed to provide a publishing agreement or financial plan, leading to further massive layoffs following the 2024 takeover. The situation is a corporate failure: Square Enix withheld royalties and ghosted People Can Fly, while Embracer’s SE/PCF purchase and debt-heavy expansion collapsed after the $2 billion Saudi fugazi ghost deal vanished. This triangle of greed, broken promises, and strategic silence killed a nearly finished sequel and decimated the studio and many many decent people and their families. Outriders 1 product is a great game, but Outriders 2 is dead. So yeah ,nice game.Had fun.Thx.
