Outriders’ brutal and bloody combat combines frenetic gunplay, violent powers and deep RPG systems to create a true genre hybrid.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1/day in the week to Aug 4 → 1.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 18: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Hidden gem of a game, it's a shame we probably won't see a sequel. The story was better than I expected; it's a fun and campy sci fi story that you shouldn't take too seriously. The gameplay is where Outriders really shines. All the classes are fun and worth replaying the game to try. A good amount of build variety for each class. Cool looking armors to grind for if you like the transmog. Easily one of the best looter shooters imo. Ignore my play time here, I have 60+ hours on psn.
In essence, Outriders has two layers: one of them is a surface-level "meathead" looter-shooter. And as far as surface-level meathead looter-shooters, it's pretty good. Tons of content, guns, armor, stats, four different classes with multiple abilities, an addictive gameplay loop, which on high difficulties smacks more and more of Doom Eternal from a third-person perspective. Enemies could benefit from more variety and AI is at best functional, but as a looter-shooter, Outriders is quite decent. But it's the second layer, which is the reason I'm writing this review. Behind all the stats, gear, loot levels and such, there's a horrifying story with themes of human wickedness, distrust, paranoia, extinction, lust for power and even (admittedly a touch heavy-handed message of) genocide. This turned out to be a surprise discovery I was not expecting. Outriders manages a rare feat - it stealthily sneaks in heavy themes in what looks like shallow entertainment and does in a far better and more meaningful fashion than People Can Fly's previous game, Bulletstorm, which only mildly hinted at them. Much like The Demolition Man or Total Recall, you can just mindlessly engage with it as just entertainment, as yet another Destiny-like game, caring only about stats, bonuses, loot and apparel. Then all the deeper themes will fly under the radar. But start paying more attention to the plot and side-quests, or reading the surprising extensive and deep lore journals of the game, and you'll be left dismayed and horrified. This layer does require certain level of engagement, some reading, attention to detail, but its unmistakeably there and even flashes out the player's avatar, The Outrider, as perhaps somebody a bit more complex than a standard snarky cookie-cutter badass, Other characters may not be Shakespeare, sure, but they are voice acted well and they do their job. Interactions between Jakub and Channa, Tiago and Agst are obvious stand-outs, but others are at worst bearable and generally even likeable, as long as you're ready to sit through some healthy dose of snark and snide. But really, snark aside, the overall narrative is actually quite interesting, with the mystery of the Anomaly and the enigmatic Signal driving forth a harrowing, and yet captivating journey through the picturesque and yet dangerous planet of Enoch, all the way till the extremely depressing reveal at the end that reconceptualizes and reframes the entire adventure and makes you ask whether all of it - not just the search for the Signal, but humanity's entire long odyssey to Enoch was actually worth it in the first place. The final villain you meet is quite a realistic portrayal of a human struck with lust for power, distrust and paranoia, pushing him too do the unthinkable. These themes don't go too deep, though and I feel like the "stealthy" nature of them precludes a deeper exploration, makes you wonder whether it may actually mean nothing at all or is actually the profound concealed layer I've mentioned previously (again, reminds me of The Demolition Man, with people still arguing whether it's a brilliant satire or a dumb action flick with a twist setting). This was far more than I was hoping for, so I can't complain. At the end of the day, beneath the layer of standard meathead looter-shooter, stats and flashy guns are the heavy-hitting themes of humanity at the brink of extinction due to its own follies, at the absolute precipice, and yet even then still finding new ways to be awful. Some may call it dark, pessimistic, edgy or cynical, but honestly what is depicted in Outriders is far more likely what would actually happen in real life than what transpires in, say, Mass Effect Andromeda. Actually, parallels with Bioware's ill-conceived fourth entry in the iconic franchise are downright uncanny. Both deal with colony ships with the last remnants of the species, near-certain extinction of those who were left behind (with stakes being higher in Andromeda as it deals with possible extinction of all advanced species, not just humanity), both star elite reconnaissance, "trailblazing" groups (Outriders vs Pathfinders) and both have to urgently establish the future of their species amidst dangerous alien enemies and wildlife, when they discover that the supposed alien paradise turns out to be a hellscape corrupted by an unknown, mysterious entity (the Anomaly vs the Scourge). Only when Andromeda's Ryder was an insufferable goofy idiot, sprinkling awkward table talk with unfunny jokes, the Outrider feels, both in demeanor and parlance, like somebody serious, even if coming off as a douchebag, aloof and cold-blooded (but, in all seriousness, how would somebody killing dozens before breakfast act?). When Andromeda's team members felt like sad caricatures of the first Mass Effect's team, the Outrider's team, while edgy and snarky, seemed like actual, real people. And when Andromeda's tone was upbeat and cheery (WHY?!), Outriders is bleak and grave, as it should be. Andromeda's Scourge is never properly explained, while Outrider's anomaly is given a satisfying, even if very downbeat explanation. Given what's at stake, that puts the "meathead looter shooter" Outrider squarely above ME: Andromeda, even in the roleplaying department (as Outriders does not deceive you with any fake choices). Whether this speaks of People Can Fly's unsung world-class talent and skills, or of the dismal state of modern Bioware, I'll let you be the judge.
