Outpost: Infinity Siege

I would recommend this game for the main reason of it's ability to play a wave defense and change your outposts's design for efficiency. I will admit that the gameplay during the story is kinda meh. But the Return to Dawn Base (Roguelike style gameplay) and the Infinity Siege wave defense are what I play this game for. It is a lot of fun watching enemies get mowed down with precision. TL;DR, get it when it's on sale. The devs worked their asses off trying to get the game in a polished state but due to limitations in the engine and how small of a team they have compared to other companies. I can't wait to see how the second game looks. Every game has it's bugs and issues, but it shouldn't be hated because it's abandoned. Technically Skyrim is abandonded yet people still love that game.

先说结论，一代就这样了，工作室已经解散，不用期待二代了，但是，原制作人出来单干了，目前在研究独立游戏《fortress t1》，可以看作是精神续作，据说会摒弃掉大部分的无意义功能，包括诟病的捡垃圾； 游戏是个好游戏，可惜了

Steam needs to put out a "Full Launch" Requirement. If you start making a game and it doesn't reach full launch. Than it has to be removed from the store if you officially have no intention of completing it. There also needs to be a update limitation where if you don't not make any updates that require a download of resources or changes to your game while its in Beta/Alpha after a certain period of time, you need to launch your title or remove it from the store. I am sick of the fact there are so many cool looking games on steam that aren't availible or are actually dead games. This title looks kewl. My computer has at the very least... the minimum requirements to play it I baught this title on 03/09/2026 I have 1 hour of gameplay in this game... That full 1 hour of gameplay is Black screen after the intro video... cause it won't do anything. I haven't even gotten a chance to play the game and half of my "Try it out or refund it" time is gone. So... I am refunding this. I wish I could give this game more wiggle room and try to figure out what the problem is with it... but $20+ tax for a about 5-6sec of teaser intro... no... Purchaed it on sale. It doesn't work. Don't Blame my PC cause I can run Helldivers 2 on this thing.

第一个在好评率只有六十几的情况下，看完一堆差评我不为所动依旧继续购买的游戏。 讲真，缺点很多：剧情稀烂，AI死板，数值混乱，地图枯燥，技能build不丰富，boss演出效果糟糕。 但是它火力投射的感觉太爽了。哪怕去掉其他内容，就剩这一个优点，我个人觉得都足够了。 第一部从EA时期积累的差评，想扭转太难了。与其修修补补，不如另起炉灶重新开始，可以理解，也知道你们确实没有应付。所以我是不吝于给制作组第二次机会的，真正审判的话留待第二部再说。希望第二部能充分发挥这个游戏独有的魅力，补全短板，好好打磨后再发布。这个fps+rts+td的创意浪费了真的很可惜。

This is my first ever negative review and its simply because I was so excited and hopeful for the potential of this game. Honestly when i bought it, there was a lot of polishing that needed to be done but I was willing to wait for the devs to fix. unfortunately over a year of waiting and the game has gone no where. Really unfortunate as this could have been one of my favourite games. don't waste your money or be hopeful, it wont happen

Для тех кто не понимает/Кому интересно почему смешанные отзывы, во первых дело в обмане доверия ибо многие купили игру с косяками и отсутствием локазлизации с верой что разрабы доведут игру до конца, но с последнего мини патча прошло уже 5 месяцев а от разрабов нет вестей как и надежды на оптимизацию производительности, для сравнения(На моём 2 компьютере 4 ядра, игра дико фризит на минималках, при этом хелдайверс 2 работает на средних нормально) кроме того были надежды на локализацию, улучшение кооператива(сейчас он по сути бесполезен, когда используется только база одного игрока, и посути единственный геймплей союзника это придти на всё готовое помогая лутать вещи, перезаряжая турели и отстреливаться), я если честно надеялся на большее

PLEASE NOTE: THIS GAME HAS BEEN ABANDONED. DEVELOPERS ARE WORKING ON SEQUEL. The game is really fun. By far the best Tower Defense Base Building FPS out there. Graphics are pretty good so it is recommended to have a "Better" PC. The gameplay loop does tend to get repetitive after a while until you start fighting different bosses. I've had a blast building my base even though it does take a while to farm all the things you're looking for.
